Our toughest match left, we win this and weve virtually done it. Infact we should treat this match like a final. Its certainly gonna be difficult scoring past a strong palermo defense, Fiorentina struggled.. lets hope we dont.

Sorry i don't know where else to post this question so here is as good as any place else. Someone told me a tenth placed premierleague team earns about the same amount of money for their position as a team in Italy gets for winning the scudetto. I don't believe him, but does anyone know how much you get for finishing 1st in Serie A. And what do you get for finishing first in Premier league. Thanks a lot.

I dont know the exact figure but ill try to find out. Although one things for sure the premiership clubs certainly are better financed than serie A clubs. This is down to many things.. but an example is the UCL, there are two media companies (ITV and SKY) who have bought the rights for UCL in england unlike in italy. In general the EPL is better coveraged around the world than serie A.

Okay just found an interesting website with a whole load of facts..

http://football.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,9753,1009392,00.html

The ones which proberly will highlight what type of money we are on about are the following facts..

The Premiership is the best attended top division in European football. Its average crowd is 11% above its nearest rival, the German Bundesliga.

The average income for a Premiership club was £56.6m. However only seven of the 20 clubs achieved this figure - Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Leeds United and Arsenal

The Premiership is the strongest league in revenue terms. England's total income rose 21% to reach €1.748bn (£1.2bn) and the Premiership receives more revenue than France and Germany put together.

Note that these facts actually come from the season 2001-02 and prior to that. I would only assume its much more now.

Another good read is..

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/3010279.stm

and

Although these go back to 2002/03.

you better hope you well see some football in there not "i needed kovac to give long balls to ibra" tactics :p
Actually, what I am most hoping for is a decent starting lineup that is Zlatan-Zebina absent.

great news guys, messian have gone down to seria B. which leavs us with this last important game.

we must win this one, because if we did, reggina who now are safe, will give us the points like we gave them two years ago.

so it all comes down to this game. Forza juve.

tough game imo, palermo will give us a hard time imo... we will need a solid performance.

i wouldn't be surprised if i saw zebina in the backline come next week, although balza played a very good game tonite.

if we could push them from the start we could throw them away from their game. But they have a dangerous team.
