Excuse me but I don't need people telling me to be objective. Del Piero just gave the ball away and when Zalayeta came on our team started to play better, for all it's worth. Zalayeta did not light up the side however he was no worse than DP. Believe me, I watched the whole match in disgust.
I know you try to be as objective as a man can be. Juve started to play better when Zala came on? It's funny how people can see things so differently. What I saw was that our game was worse during the last half of the second period than in the first half. Zala came on when about 20 minutes were left and we had about two ok chances during that period and none of them had anything to with him.

But let's not waste our time on this useless debate. DP sucked (although I'm not ready to crusify him like some are) and all the other players sucked too (except Zlatan). And also Zala sucked (and was worse than DP).

Good night guys, let's just hope we can win the Scudetto despite of what happened tonight.

Vinni: don't waste your time with them. It takes a pretty stupid person to question our alliance to the team when we sit here and suffer through every single match.

Well if you whine like a ***** and insult "your" team when they're in the top of the Serie A with 5 games to go, then your loyalty deserves to be questioned.
I'm not talking about the criticism that is in fact good and valid, I'm talking about the real cry-babies.
Another FRESHMEN trying to make his mark...

THIS TEAM ISNT AS GOOD AS MILAN IN ALL AREAS OF THE GAME, THEREFORE, WE WILL NOT BEAT THEM IN THE SCUDETTO RACE

WE ARE ALREADY OUT OF THE COPPA AND CL, THEREFORE WE WILL NOT HAVE ANY SILVERWARE TO PUT INTO THE CABINET THIS SEASON !!!!!!!

was that a valid enough point for you ???

Accounts for fvck all now. We can't beat AC Milan, Inter, PALERMO, or Liverpool FFS.
Eh, you can't just change your point when someone proved you wrong. Your point was we can't beat any top sides. When I listed some that we did in fact beat this season, you say that it doesn't matter and count up those we didn't beat.

Making it pretty easy for yourself. Must be really important for you to be right before you go to bed.

we were better today and we deserfed to win.

ok vinman you are right there are some things wrong and its not all perfect.(i hope moggi buys to make ower weak points dead tho no weak points)

but you just cant say milan is a better team.

they have the same points as us, 70p

21 won 7draw 4losses

ok we lost againts inter reggina palermo and samp , but milan isent dowing any better, they have a lot of luck and i truly believe that we deserf the scudetto more than milan, they won againts inter ok but milan is inter's black sheep.
we won 2time's againts siena and in siena 0-3 so we are better??? no so milan is better because they won againts inter ?? no!

70 vs 70 means 50/50 in the end you can say who was the best , and thats the team with the most points

and yea is still believe we can win this scudetto because we are still first with milan and there are 6game's to go.
anything can happen.

but hey that's mine apinion.

so nobody gets mad on me because i just think Juve can still win this thing, and i realy dont know why i dont have the right to think that, and i am really not that inprest by milan , because maybe this is milans best whyl we are nowere best.
if we were at ower best we would be celibraid already for the scudetto and preparing a big win againts Chelsea.

come on moggi buy al things right in the summer and bring back Juventus 96/97/98 you can do it

FORZA JUVENTUS! 28 :star: :star: ?

Hahaha.

So what if I'm a freshman here? Proud of posting 3000+ times on an internet forum? Does it make you a bigger fan or the always righteous in a debate?
No it doesn't.
You will be looking like a clown if we win the Serie A after that statement. I'll be there to shove it up your nose.
Stop fighting now, boys. We're all Juve-fans. :')

when did I say that ???

dont put words in my mouth...

I've said a lot of things, and the MAJORITY of the time, I've been spot on

Dont believe me, check my past posts , pal
man I know your posts.I don't have to check them.you are a pesimist fan that never apreciates anything, you predicted that Milan will kill us 3-0?do i remember wrong? that we have no chance against real?am I wrong?other draw against the small teams (that we won after)I don't have to count them..
anyways,I don't have any problem with you, that's your style, but I apreciate any good work done by our team,we were ok In CL (there anything can happen).
we are in even points with Milan, our chance maybe is not 50% probably less, but it's not ZERO like you think.
Man I don't give a hell if we don't win it,but I will support them till the end,and always will have the hope.I know this team can play better...

In case your too dense to realize we're talking about Serie A here. That's right, Serie A. We should not even be talking about Champions League because if you haven't realized we are out. It's done, wrapped up, and we have no chance of winning that competition. This whole discussion here is about how we fail to beat the best sides in Serie A, a whole different competition from the CL. Internazionale, AC Milan, Palermo, and so on.

Hell, I would certainly take both Milan clubs over any other side we faced this season when it comes to quality, if you feel like talking about Europe as a whole. Stop living in your little dream world where Juventus are always the best.

Why don't I hear people praising Capello for another great substitute? He's a genius of the substitutes, right? That's what I've been hearing lately...

Zalayeta was awful. After he came to the pitch Juve lost all the control of the game.

TBH, all his substitutions were very logical. Blasi came on for Emerson because Puma was injured, Birindelli had a pretty poor match so Masiello came in and we switched to a 3-4-1-2 with Nedved behind the strikers, and Zalayeta replaced an inefficient DP. All valid substitutions.

When you have a ****ing huge selection of three strikers to choose from, and one of them is already on the field (Ibrahimovic), and the other just doesn't feel like playing (Trezeguet), it only leaves one on the bench. That happened to be Zalayeta.
Trezeguet is injured. He got an ankle injury against Israel.

I understand DP was fairly poor (like everybody else except Zlatan) but why take a forward who can be decisive and make a difference and put the crappy Zala there? Why not change to a trident attack then? It wasn't coinsidence that when DP left and Zala came in, we lost the good control we had. I'm not praising DP here, but I'm saying like it is.

DP can make a difference and when we're losing, why take him out and replace him with Zalayeta? Stupid. Not an action of a "a subsituting genius".

TBH, Zala has been more decisive this season than DP, especially in the end of the matches, and DP never looked dangerous tonight.

Really an outsanding performance once again from our team. Shouldn't have expected anything more tonight. As usual the story of the match was as follows: horrible team passing, no ideas with the ball, no creativity in midfield at all, no ideas other than lofting the ball up to our forwards, no urgency, no heart, and basically no chances created. We created two opporunities the whole match in a corner kick that struck the bar and an Ibrahimovic strike that just sailed over the bar. Apart from that, absolutely nothing. This garbage display was just as bad as the Liverpool match last week.
I disagree. IMO we created enough. Zlatan hit the post, he had another shot magnificently saved by Toldo, Birindelli had a great free kick, Zlatan had a good volley, DP had a good chance on a volley he missed, Nedved had a decent chance that Toldo saved, Zlatan had a good free kick... IMO we had more chances than Inter.

++ [ originally posted by Andy ] ++

Just the same old story of Juventus looking pathetic against our fellow top sides, not being able to do anything apart from squander chances. It's come to the point where you cannot expect anything more from this side, and we have to play Milan in just a few weeks. That will be just great.
I dont think we were pathetic at all. IMO we played a solid match, and looked better than Inter. Not much, but still.

Still not enough Zlatan. Apart from those few chances we really were poor, especially as a team. Most of those chances you listed were half chances, stemming from Inter mistakes.

I dont think we were pathetic at all. IMO we played a solid match, and looked better than Inter. Not much, but still.
Not sure which match you were wathcing because I thought we were pathetic. Sure, we created some chances but the team as whole did not play well and we squandered far too many opportunities. The passing in midfield was horrid and we should be able to play better against an Inter without their top players. Guess not.

Says nothing about the Serie A only here.

Look, our matches vs Liverpool was in the CL, and not Serie A as far as I'm concerned.

So stop changing your point as soon as you are wrong. :)
