A very disappointing and poor performance by juve that could have cost
us the points if cheivo scored , i dont know why juve played like this from
the moment we scored the game ended for juve players.

What is happening to NEDVED he is not the same.

the "good" thing is that AT LEAST roma has the same points as we do..

that is something...
an now, this is a bigger challenge for us...
and a bigger threat that in the match against them....we MUST win.....

But I do believe Nedved will regain his form and show Totti what can he do

After missing out on the last 2 games it was business as usual on RAI International as Chievo visited Turin to a rather empty stadium. The pitch was in a very bad condition and may have contributed to a rather sedate match. Juve started well & piled on some pressure on the Chievo defence which paid off in the 10th minute when Camoranesi completed a sweeping move started by Appiah. The Juve defence seemed to have picked themselves up after the bad patch with Thuram & Legro taking good command of the situation. Zambrotta did not do much overlapping as I believe he must have been instructed to cover for Montero - Which he did without any fuss.
The mid was marshalled tactfully by Tachi, (I never once thought I would make this comment!) who had a quiet but effective game. Appiah seems to be regaining his combative form & had a good tussle in the mid which he usually won. Undoubtfully Camo was man of the match with his mazy runs & confident one on one situations. His contribution on the right flank with Thuram was a welcome relief seeing that Neddy was almost absent except for one great shot.
DP had some good touches but was always man marked by three people. This did not give him much chance but Chievo did not pay the price as they would have if Neddy was on fire. Trez was active and made some nice runs from deep in the midfield. A pity he did not get any clear cut chances. Di Vaio came on for Trez and should have put the game beyond any doubt on atleast three occassions. Good to see he is lively & his misses did not cost us.
I was paying particular attention to Santana but it seems like Thuram had him well covered. Apart from a speedy counter attack Chievo did not trouble the Juve defense & Buffon spent an idle day in an awful kit. It was nice to see Camo switch to the left wing, Zambro to the right wing after Pessotto came on for Thuram.
All in all I saw some pretty solid passing & movement by Juve in this game enough to whet my appetite for the Roma clash.

We weare very lucky to get the 3 points yeaterday cause Chievo really deserved the draw...

The good point is that the defence worked well, especially Legro and that others players who was in difficolty like Camo and Treze recovered a good schape.

Nedved is having phisycal problems, according to Lippi he will be perfect for the match vs Roma, let's hope he's right, we truly need him in better conditions!

I want Miccoli playing! Yesterday, also if DP was sucking like usual and he started even to be booed by his fans, Lippi didn't give him even a small chance... that's unfair! It's the situation will go on like this we will lose Fabrizio at the end of the season, that's 4 sure

First of all, I'm happy for the win.......

Our offense didnt show up today, were just lucky that our defense had little to do, otherwise things could have gotten real ugly !!!!

The "flying donkeys" of the last few seasons didnt show up today, rather, a bunch of jackasses who dont know what offense is showed up in their place !!!!!

We will be playing a "real" game next week against Roma. Then we will see just how good/bad this team really is.......

True. The defense was not esceptional.. but chievo offense was lame.

Anyways.. we can takle this like a good morale-boost for our defenders looking at the upcoming Inter-Roma Matches, which will be very very difficult both.

A win against Inter tomorrow would be a very good tonic for the clash with Roma on the weekend, so I'm hoping that our boys can get revenge on the Nerazzurri and do it in style, though just doing it would be good enough for me :D
