Appiah and Tacchinardi are much better than Blasi and Giannichedda. Pessotto and Birindelli were in a better form than now (younger). Maresca was with us. We had a great squad at that time.

The fact is that Lippi was able to win the championship with Pessotto or Birindelli.Lippi didn't have a need for the stars,he had Tudor,Montero Iuliano,he was fascinated with Miccoli,he had Maresca too,he descovered Appiah and insists him to be brought(it was obvious that Davids case would finish bad)...but the problem is that everyone remembers Lippi by his last season with us,and the main reason why we were suffering is because our defence sucked ,and I'm sure that one Cannavaro would solve the problem.

Andy showed an actual formation, not his best formation. He was comparing two actual squads, one with Capello at the moment compared to the one with Lippi in 2003. You cannot say Zidane instead of Nedved because he simply was not with Juventus. Got it?

I read your post, but the fact of the matter is Capello has the better defense and midfield...why? Cannavaro has been in better shape than Ciro in the specified season and Thuram has been vastly superior to the aged Montero as well. Davids was on the wane in 2003 when we reached the Final and there is no comparing Tacchinardi to Emerson as much as I respect the former. The attack is basically the same and even though we had the magnificent Nedved in 2003 the midfield we possess now should make up for his contributions.

Then if you want to talk about other options off the bench the verdict is unanimous as well...Chiellini, Kovac, Mutu, and Del Piero are all superior to Pessotto, Tudor, Maresca, and Zalayeta respectively, among others. Sure Lippi had stalwarts such as Conte who is obviously better than Blasi and Giannichedda combined, however the majority of the players Capello has are superior at this point in time.

There is no contest really...Capello has the better overall roster between the two, however the difference is not that noticable as to argue over who is the better manager with these facts. I have my favorite and everybody here has their own opinion on this matter as well..

But in terms of what he has done for Juve...Lippi is our man and I doubt Capello will ever rival what Marcelo has done for Juventus.

Zlatan is supported by everyone already... everyone is loving Zlatan... we love all Juve players... so does the coach... they give blasi and giannicheda chances to play and mutu... zlatan doesnt need to score to become a good performer.... he has been good as team player as well.. that is what we like about him... he is more mature now compare to last time... when you are more of a team player...you dont score that much but team will score more...
look at del piero...since the past few years...he has been a team player instead of the real attacker...he is asked to support trezeguet more often... but Juve keeps winning even if Del Piero or Zlatan doesnt score...coz other players will score...
Zlatan is Capello's fav player..so I am sure everyone support other players in Juve so does the Coach...

1st I never said who had a better squad.That's what azzurri said?are you blind?can't you see that?then I came with this answer "I don't think Capello have any better options Than Lippi had".. But my opinion is,Lippi had a better subs?and you deny as much as you want,because I know you are very biased person Andy.
I heard 1000 times,you criticized that why Juve don't have a good subs.yeah go ahead ,deny that.
I think we have Ok subs,that are enough for us to go till then end of the season,but that doesn't mean,we had a better options than Lippi's time.
