I did not watch the game but according to channel4 they say that juve
scored although they did not control the game and they were lucky that
ancona did not score.
Fake. Ancona did nothing. Plus it's pointless to attack Juve and to play with just 3 defenders. It was been too easy for us to score. After just 20'' we've had a great chance to score. After 1' another great one. After 7' the first goal. After a few minutes the second goal...

Ancona played the worse game i've seen this year against Juve at Delle Alpi: they was been just STUPID! You cant be so arrogant to attack in 7 against Juve, in Turin. Expecially if your defenders aint Nesta, or Stam, or Maldini. Too easy, for real. Nothing more than a training game.

Plus remember we will play against Brescia, Lazio, Milan and Depor in the next 14 days. So...

Nah the defence held well for it's third consecutive clean sheet.

Survivor you can't say that just based on this game's performance. What about Milan then who are not really producing quality games either. I don't reall remember too many great games by Juve when they play small teams; they just get the job done and that's all. They step up when the big guns come over.

Milan will slip up sooner or later and don't be surprised if they do slip up when you least expect it, i.e. next Sunday against Sampdoria.

Last year, the team that was leading at this point had 51 points, and Juve right now has 52. This year we are doing better than last year if you take everything in perspective, especially if we pass to the next round of the CL.
Milan deserves the 1st place. And deserves the Scudetto.
Roma deserves the 2nd place, but they'll probably end up finishing 3rd.
Juve this year aint playing well. That's a point. We still got mad talent, but... this is probably the worse Lippi's team ever (i'm talking about Juventus) talking about quality.

Ironicly in the begginig of the seaosn Lippi said that this team was the most completed team we have had... well not just only him....all of us thought it :(

Most of the world outside of Italy probably didnt see the match, not too many networks want to show one hell of a pitiful team play another that is winding down the same road......can you blame them ???

I also didnt see the match, but have saw highlights. The goals were great, but according to Channel 4 the defense was sub-par. No surprises there.

I think I'll wait to comment more once I see what Denco thought of the match. I dont trust Glenn's analysis. He probably thought Juve played a great game against Roma, despite the scoreline............

Yeah. But nobody was expecting DP to play for 4 months this horrible way, nobody was expecting Davids to be traded, nobody was expecting Milan and Roma to be "SOOOOOOOOOO" damn good! But hey, we have still a good team! Next year with 2-3 good acquisition we will be top again. :)

Keep the faith in Juventus. History speaks for ourselves! :)

I dont know if you trust me.. but i'll give you anyway my analysis.

Juve has a big big problem. The problem is that we have no quality in the midfield. We miss somebody like Pizarro, you know what i mean? Somebody like Sousa used to be. A real playmaker. So there's no good play for us. Only thing this team can do is to outrun the other teams. We can do it with Zambrotta 100%, Nedved 100%, Camoranesi 100%, even Di Vaio 100%. But to be a phisical team and not a team with quality player (like Roma or Milan) means that, if you are not 100% but 50%, you got hella problems. Cause you dont run like you have to, and you dont have enought quality to let the ball run for yourself (like Milan does, like Real does, like Roma does). Right now, after 2 seasons where we've outranned the opponents, we've finished the fuel. That means we cant outrun opponents no more, at least not in that spectacular way we did last year. So now Zambrotta looks like a normal player (altought he's still one of the bests), Nedved looks like a normal player (altought he's still one of the bests), Thuram looks like a normal player, etc..

The only two quality players are Camoranesi and Maresca. But Maresca is injured, and Camoranesi cant play 60 games a year.

So that's the problem. We are only phisical right now. And we have finished fuel. That's why Roma outplayed and OUTRANNED us! That's why we've had all them problems against Depor. Cause they know how to play soccer, we dont. We know how to RUN.

BUT.....

Usually Lippi's teams are in good condition in the last 3 months of the season. That's why we gotta keep faith in them. Cause if they'll come back to outrun opponents, they'll back to win and play well.

It's all a phisical thing with Lippi's teams.

GOOD THING: If we are 100% ok, nobody can beat us (look at Real last year)

BAD THING: if we are not 100% ok, everybody can beat us.

Yesterday we wasnt 100% ok. So we've suffered Ancona a lil bit. But hey, we've still won 3-0, easy one, 3 goals in 45' and game over! Remember Roma did 0-0 against Ancona. And Milan won 5-0, but Ancona outplayed them till the refree gave Milan a fake penalty (who "unlocked" Milan, who played better from that moment).

So.. i aint tripping about Juve-Ancona. We had to win, and to spend the less power possible. We did it, with no problems. So.....

Don Bes.. Juve is strange! Look at last year. We looked tired and horribles against Real in Spain. We dominated them in Turin. And we were tired again against Milan, in Manchester. You never know!

That's why i think next year Juve will try to get more quality players. Cause when you are not 100% on form and you cant outrun your opponents, you betta make the ball go faster than you, you know what i mean? Move the ball, control the game, punish opponents. Like Real does. Like Milan does. Like Roma does.

But for this season... let's hope they'll be 100% on form against Depor, in Turin. If they'll be, we will win.

I don't know, the way I see it through the highlights- Ancona did have some fair good chances and I feel our defence could have done better to avoid all that, plus IIRC they hit the bar once, no?

Chiumento must be good if he's given some minutes for the senior squad in serie a.... I hope he will do well in the future.

Man you cant win if you play the way Ancona did. I mean they've attacked with 7-8 guys for just 10 minutes. We've controlled them (yeah, they hitted the post, but still..), and punished them. It was too easy cause they've played without defence. Anyway man, we've played against a team who has just 6 points in Serie A. There was no need to force and to play better. The job was to win. Mission complete. Let's go ahead! :)

Agreed. If the keeper got any more on that than he did, it would've gone out off the post for a corner

Ancona's defence was horrible on DP's goal. DP had the ball, he passed it to Tacchi, Tacchi to DP, and in 3 meters Ancona had 3 players against Tacchinardi and nobody against DP. Who shoot alone against Marcon. Too easy to be a nice goal. DP didnt even celebrated it. LOL.
