You have a point but I’m not sure if it’s a general rule of thumb. Some clubs do it and some clubs don’t. Did all of those guys have a full pre-season with their new clubs? I feel like with Juve, you would have thought that at least Rabiot would start since he’s played almost every game in pre-season.

Also, how high profile the player is probably has an impact on it as I remember when Bale signed for Madrid, he practically got thrown straight in with no pre-season at all and just coming back from injury and away at a difficult stadium.
I remember Bale el madrid bel... shut up!

Good signs in first game. Hope for more in this one: no Allegri-esque nervous parking in the end, continue new passing game till end or for now at least for longer, and acknowledge the CF's existence (esp Ronaldo).

Some real nice moves from the training ground that targeted Ronaldo and ended with him in first game (his second miss e.g.). More of the same with a little more variety. Other striker should play the Benzema role but don't treat him as the sacrificial lamb lol.

Defense should remain the same, maybe midfield too. Khedira-Pjanic-Rabiot too light esp vs Napoli.

How was Can in preseason in Sarri's system, and how was Rabiot on right?

We need to play Danilo, Rabiot and Dybala. MDS, Khedira and Higuain (ok game aside) should not be near a team with CL aspirations.

Yeah I'd replace Pipita with Dybala. Great movements and selfless but lacked the touch of a provider.

That's what it should be regardless long-term anyway (assuming both stay). Better player, was great in F9 role at Palermo, and better provider for CR7 esp if Sarri's going to keep playing the striker as 2nd fiddle provider and not a target man.

Play the familiar faces in defense for now. Don't need any stupid errors or communication issues vs Napoli.

Second place is not a title
yea im not hyping up Inter or Napoli.

I don't know who will the scudetto this season, nobody really does, but Juventus have at least 90% chance. For any team that is not Juventus to win would be a massive upset.

as of now, i see no reason at all to think that would happen

By far the strongest team (assuming nothing truly retarded happens in the remains of the Mercato). And while I don’t like Sarri and think he’s overrated, he’s at least competent enough for us to retain the scudetto.

If it weren't for Conte and the stable management behind him I would have agreed to that

I knew someone was gonna say that so I was contemplating adding "in the 2019/2020 season" to the end of the sentence, so I'll say it now. Allegri's squad would not be good enough to win the scudetto in 2019/2020
Why would it not? I mean ffs we had 5 scudetto in a row with him. What's with this reactionary BS.

One match day and already our usual non competition are hyped to be better.

They are not better, they have a manager ten times better than ours.

Loving how some of you guys are now coming out with these imaginary scenarios where Allegri loses. He walked the league for five straight years that's the reality. Talk about trying to discredit someone with nothing but shitty imagination.
