Beautiful, just... beautiful. We dominated the game.. hardly any long balls, we kept possession.. Great start. :touched:

Lol, was that Barca wearing black and white today? Great way to open the season at the new stadium.

It still sucks De Ceglie got that red... At least he can now take his time to shoot few episodes of Two and a Half Men since he won't be available for the next fixture :D

Good possession and not afraid to attack. That's my sort of football. I do think we need to work more on movement and the interchanging of positions, but at least Conte is playing the straight 4-4-2 the way it should be played. Good width to the team, brilliant orchestration in midfield from Pirlo. The problem we face will be in the defense and also, quite probably, becoming too dependent on the performances of Pirlo.

Great first match, but long season ahead. Remember, the real tests arrive in November and throughout the Winter just like they always do. We'll see how we ride out those waters.

Destroying Parma is always, no matter how and no matter when, as great as great can be.

As for the match, it was a really face lifted team with lots of different options from every angle and that we still have a bunch of players that did not appear. We have to build on that and stay on this correct track.

Had a friend updating via text while I was at work. Sure did brighten my day! Seeing the highlights now, showing how beautiful we played, makes it even better!
Also, Contes celebration at 3:09 just shows that his heart is at Juve! Never saw Del Neri doing that

This 4/2/4 looks amazing on attack, spreads the defense and gives us so many options. If only we had some exterior attackers that could cross we could have scored a few more today. My concern is vs tough quick counter attacking teams. In anycase, Vidal is a must to be a regular starter, I love his energy out there!!

And I love the fact that he celebrated when the game was sealed and not before.

I said this earlier in the match thread but I'll say it again, it feels good to watch Juve again without feeling tense. It's been so long since we've had a team that can pass the ball that well, play entertaining football and most importantly defend so well (bar DC at the end).

Already can't wait for our next game, Forza Juve per sempre :flag4:
