New contracts mean nothing.

I just find it odd, he's gone straight to the bench despite being our top scorer. Borriello starts ahead of him.

I think the offer of Zenit is true and we've agreed to sell him. Wouldn't surprise me to see Borriello reloaned to us next year.

He hasn't gone straight to the bench, the reason behind that was a couple of awful appereances.

I like Matri but if Zenith were ready to offer 20M for him I would sell him without thinking twice.

Matri is going nowhere.

In my opinion, keep this group. It's a fantastic group of players and they all seem to get along really well. Just keep this group and add to it. Sell out Felipe Melo and stuff like that of course, but the core of this group must stay. Remember also that Del Piero will leave us after this season, so having Matri, Quag and Vucinic + purchasing a top striker makes a lot of sense.

I would agree with that actually. No need to revolutionize the squad as we did in the last few seasons. Elia and Krasic are not really part of this group and will earn us good transfer dollars together with Melo. Those 3 players on their own will yield us around 30m or maybe more. Add the extra revenue from champions league etc, and we should be able to splash at least 50-60m on some top class players to fill in for Del Piero and Borriello's imminent departure.
