Performance was good enough to deserve 3 or 4-0, but there are still the similar concerns about. Despite this being the second game when we've had a comfortable win, it still seems like we are wasting a lot of good chances, and they all seem to be coming in the first half. Chiellini's failed header should have set us off early.
The biggest positive about today is that we've beaten the side that has highlighted everything bad about Juventus in the previous two seasons. Every match we played against Palermo featured them playing their best football of the season as they found every way possible of showing the flaws Juventus had in defense and midfield. Last time we won against them was when Sissoko and Trezeguet

scored, so it's nice to destroy Miccoli and the rest of them again.
Then there's the concern about the defense. The rest of the team played like those that were clearly better than the opposition, and Bonucci stands out as someone with a poor display. He wasn't even that bad defensively, it was more to do with him wasting possession stupidly and gifting Palermo easy chances. If Ilicic hadn't fucked up hugely then the game could have taken a nasty turn, and Palermo regain confidence for the second half. Another concern is Chiellini's ball possession as well. I've said many times that he's too clumsy for left back, and stick to that, a lot of the time he was sliding in to reach decent enough passes. Although, he did produce a class assist so he's let off. The final concern was Ilicic's chance early on down the left hand side, Lichtsteiner was out of position and it's good that we have Gigi producing class saves.
As for man of the match, it's hard to single out one person. I liked Matri today, worked hard to chase down the Palermo players, had a great finish on his goal, showed good awareness to allow Marchisio to score #3.
