Bayern's win last season was the most deserving CL win ever IMO, and the only win where luck played zero role.
well they certainly were the most convicing team in the tournament but they got quite lucky in the final. ribery could (and imo should) have been sent off after ~25min. furthermore, dante not getting shown a second yellow card for bringing down reus in the box was a quite scandalous decision...

i think we will beat napoli 2:0 or 2:1 with tevez and marchisio on the score sheet :)

Marchisio is out of form, he should start from the bench, Vidal x Llorente 2:0

So if it's easier to win the trophy for a weaker team it's automatically mean that tournament are even tougher generally?
Last time; it's harder to win IMO as you have more quality teams around and more variables involved. Luck can play significant role in the knock out stages, if for instance the game goes to penalties or away goals. In Serie A you neither have that many quality teams to challenge you for the top spot nor the away goals or penalties that can decide the final progress. If your performances remain relatively consistent throughout the year and even with a few short spells of bad form, it is likely that you'll finish on top. In CL you can win every single game and lose the final to a vastly inferior team and in the end leave the competition empty handed.

That's why it's easier to win CL, well done

We should create a separate thread for this. CL or Domestic League, which is easier to win? :D

Let's just dedicate this thread to the game, as I am sure many posters don't wanna read through numerous pages of RUS trying to argue his point.

Argue is a nice way to put it. I'd say readers don't want to go through several pages of RUS owning himself in a discussion.

Nottingham Forrest x2, Steua, Red Star, Hamburg, Celtic has made it, why Hungarian or Russian teams can't?! But now it's different - many teams like Zagreb Dynamo are not giving a fuck about the trophy, they need only money, they not even trying anymore
teams like zagreb are practically forced to sell their best player(s) each season it's not so much about not giving a fuck about the trophy but at the same time they have to be realistic in their objectives, they are more of europa league standard where they come up against less opponents. Infact the Europa league is a prime example of the lesser teams actually caring for this cup more so than most of the 'bigger' sides
