To everyone talking about my statement I meant it if we continue to play a 3-5-2 pogba should play over marchisio. However I would prefer if we could continue with all our best cms on the field(marchisio, pirlo, vidal, pogba)

Important quote from Conte

- He will continue to use both formations (IMO a good thing, our opponents will not be sure if we will play 4-3-3 or 3-5-2, a few weeks ago everyone was sure about playing 3-5-2)
- When we need to attack and make the game we will use 3-5-2 (I think against the smaller teams, he's saying 3-5-2 is more attacking than a 4-3-3)
- a 3-5-2 also means we'll concede more counter attacks, and is difficult against teams who are more dangerous in attack

A 4-3-3 also means Tevez will be playing wide, which isn't his best position as we all know, with a 3-5-2 their wingers will be playing against Barzagli and Chiellini, both not really fast. In a 4-3-3 Mertens/Insigne/Callejon will face Cacares and Asamoah.

I'm really interested in which formation he'll use. I'm tired of the 3-5-2 so against Napoli, 4-3-3 with Tevez close to Llorente, don't like him really wide.
which is why idk why he just doesn't do a 4312

Because it's an obsolete formation and for it to work, you need world class fullbacks who can provide the width to compensate for the lack of wingers, which we don't have.

Don't get me wrong, Lichtsteiner is a rock solid fullback but his crossing is poor. Caceres' crossing is better but he is error prone. Don't get me started on Asamoah.

OK, so obviously the real battle will be in the middle of the pitch. That fat-sh!t-Benitez, has rested hamsik, obviously for the purpose of being more successful in containing Pirlo, also making him more error prone, losing the ball, giving them the chance to counter us right where we launch our attacks. Pirlo is our brain and also our Achilles-hill, when constantly pressed.
So what's the solution here?
One would be those long balls from Bonbon, I think this time there's a better chance of this working, with LLorente up front. We also need to go wide, so a good crosser, one of DC or Isla?! I'm not a fan of them but we don't have better options.

They've some serious firepower and pace up front. Didn't think they'd strengthen overall after Cavani but gotta say that Callejon/Mertens/Higuain have proven me wrong.

It hardly matters what defensive formation we play, I'd say. We have to choke that bitch out much higher on the pitch.

The one good thing is Higuain won't chase the defenders around like Cavani did, so Bonucci or Pirlo will have space and time.

Their defence isn't the greatest either, I think we'll win 2-1.

I really hope we do no not put Tevez on the wing again. We needed to contain Bale + Ronaldo, which is why we switched formation. We can take on Nipples in the 3-5-2 and still win.

Maybe many will disagree I will start De ceglie. His efforts when he start the game were of highest level.I would against Napoli start him over Asamoah.Especcially if we go with LLorente.

Insigne and Hamsik as well. I also don't try that dirty cunt Behrami, especially against us.

Conte returns to 3-5-2 vs Napoli; Tevez and Llorente to lead the attack; Pogba, Pirlo and Vidal in the midfield and the only doubt is whether Isla or Cacers will start. - Tuttojuve
