I wonder which one it's going to be

4-3-3

Buffon

Lich - Barzagli - Chiellini - De Ceglie

Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio

Pepe - Matri - Vucinic

or 3-5-2

Buffon

Lich - Barzagli - Chiellini

Caceres - Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio - De Ceglie

Vucinic - Matri/Del Piero

I think it'll be the first one. Almost same formation like the one against Calciopoli Directors.
I thin if you swap litch with Caceres in the 3-5-2 you'll have the starting IX. I thing DP will get 30 mins again

30 good minutes with the 3-5-2 made you all forget how half of our team sucked hard with that formation. Vucinic, Marchisio, Pepe, Vidal and Lichtsteiner most of all.
Inter managed to stop our attacking wingers and that's why a change of a formation was needed, even though it's doubtful if that new formation was gonna work at all if we didn't score from the corner kick only a couple of minutes after we changed the formation.

It's gonna be a mistake if Conte tries to match Napoli. Actually, it was a mistake in Naples too and we were badly outplayed and conceded 3 goals until Napoli had no legs and our better physical condition allowed us to get back in the game.
Napoli's wing play will be better stopped if Mirko and Pepe trouble Maggio and Zuniga instead of letting Maggio fight DC and Zuniga fight Licht.

I agree.

Also, it would limit our midfield which still remains our best attribute. I'd say, let's start the game with a 4-3-3, wait for the hour mark to judge if the midfield still has it, and then we could think about introducing 3-5-2 and Del Piero if the midfield trio seems tired or if as a whole we seem to lack ideas.

I'm trying to remember what formation we started with when we played them last, I'm sure we did a switch a some point during the game which helped with them tiring.

We started like this:

Buffon
Barzagli Bonucci Chiellini
Licht-Pepe-Pirlo-Vidal-Estigarribia
Matri-Vucinic

We didn't change the formation at all actually. We made the first sub in 85th minute (we were all going mad why wasn't Conte changing anything at 3:1 :D). We had players in the starting XI to switch to 4-3-3, but we kept the 3-5-2 formation from start to finish.

Christian Maggio is being tipped to return from injury in time for Napoli’s game at Juventus on Sunday evening.

The Italian international missed the weekend’s 2-2 draw with Catania because of a left thigh problem, but he’s on the mend.
The Corriere dello Sport is today suggesting that the former Sampdoria man will be at the disposal of boss Walter Mazzarri.
Maggio, 30, is a key player for the Stadio San Paolo outfit as his three goals in 26 League games this term testify.
Fuck. 3-2, it will be a difficult game. Catania's been good this season, hopefully they'll give Milan trouble and make them drop points.

It would be a great idea if our players and Conte could come out of their dressing wearing this before the game. Trolling them hard before the show begins.
