Can't wait. Great match to rest Tevez and give other strikers an opportunity to score this season. We need Gio, Morata and Llorente to start banging goals. Would be great to see Coman and Pereyra finding the net as well. Shouldn't be too hard for them to score tonight. We can't always rely on Tevez.

Prediction
1-0 Tevez
:D

start him but take him out early...cant rest him fully....that we can do v the match before atletico....while rest is good and everything you have to manage your players sharpnes, thirst for blood as much as u have to manage their legs

with gio we need to keep him in a cage half his size and poke him with a hot iron rod then unleash him on opponents

To be honest its better to rest key players in the match before the madrid game. It does make more sense to play the best XI in this game and rest them in the weekend. But there is no excuse for not trying a back 4 formation. It appears allegri is starting to like the 3-5-2. Maybe he won't start thinking about changing it unless madrid rape us in the CL with griezman and turan.
- No Barzagli = shit for defence
- Mister said there isnt enough time to train and learn the 4backline when playing 3 games a week. Considering his impressive talent in setting a defence, i'll follow that logic.

To me this just sounds like excuses. He propobly doesn't have the balls to change formations now since we are winning. We played Real madrid with a back 4 in turin and we didn't lose, hell we even played alot better than them. How hard can Cesena be ? It's not like our team never played 4-3-X before.

This was actually the perfect time for a change, we don't need barzagli and chiellini to face Cesena, that's just nonsense. Bonucci/Ogbonna - Chiellini partnership is more than enough. We could have even tried a traditional 4-3-3 with coman and pereyra on the wings (even though they both aren't genuine wingers) and morata as a CF.

Can you please explain this to me, because you've used this phrase constantly lately.
"setting a defence". The way you tactically organise and instruct your defence to move and position, to create a strong unit that controls space, presses, holds, covers and marks like you want them to.

Its Allegri's biggest talent.

I have explained both reasons Allegri has talked about. They are totally understandable from tactical point of view. I'm happy he takes our games more serious then you, and refuses to lose points cause of one stupid counter and a fault the central shit could make.

You can now proceed to be angry cause he isnt using your preferred players and we honestly cant care about what you would like to fap to.

I care about winning, and i like that Allegri takes this serious and doesnt take stupid risks.

I am not on the forums a lot and posting, but i can honestly say that in my opinion, Zach has stopped using steroids. His posts lately have been quite calm, with a more serene tone.

:agree:

We playing the worst team in Serie A, and Bonucci and Chiellini are not good enough? They'll probably have two shots on goal most!

If one of those goes in you'll be the first here to complain :agree:

Need a napkin to clean the tears of Max taking the game serious and not field your special formation ?

Zach, I respect your opinion, you might be and I hope you are, right about allegri. But somehow I have the feeling that is not the case. It's not about "flair" or "fapping", It's just that 2 years have proved us that the 3-5-2 will not take us very far in europe. That's the reason everyone wants to change it, including me. And if you want to change the formation, you better take a risk and change it against Cesena. That way your team will be ready to use the right formation in the right time (aka madrid game or any other important game).
