first off, i do not think i would be a great manager or coach and surely not better than ferrara, but honestly you make it look like it was impossible to avoid there comeback...

a low league coach would have singled out the player of the opponent who does have the greatest influence on their game and sub in a player who can mark him out of the game.

i strongly believe that if ferrara had brought in ariaudo for giovinco or diego to mark their best midfielder out of the game we would have a much bigger chance of winning this 2-1.

I mean a young player like ariaudo should be able to run for the remaining 30 minutes of the game and mark a player who already played for an hour completely out of the game.

but yes, sometimes the "simple" solutions seem to easy to be successful... if ciro did not even consider strengthening the defense by bringing someone on to mark out a player of them i gotta say he was way to naive (thinking bringing tiago would let us continue own them and just go on score further goals)

Agree, I think Tiago is pushed to play early after his injury. Before this game there is no news regarding him recovered from injury but after Momo injury in Samp game, Ferrara need one CM to cover Melo - Pou. I actually would include Marrone for this match rather than Tiago

I really want to saw the match last night but my internet connection is so slow. SO i choose to read the Juventuz live here. After we scored a goal and the first half ended, i try to look for match statistic and i saw the ball possession is 67 - 33 for Juventus although the shooting is balanced on on both sides.

Then in second half we get the second goal through Giovinco. Look at the temporary result and the statistic from half time, i think it would be comfortable game from now. Then all the nightmares happen since Datolo came on. After conceding one goal, Ferrara still didn't react to Napoli tactical change. I can't believe that and feels that Napoli second goal will come, and it's happened. then the third goal for Napoli.

How can this happened?

Don't laugh, but I'm pretty sure that had Mauro remained things would have looked much different. That woman that replaced Camoranesi, she's no football player.

This game is the biggest joke . As soon as Amauri got that red I just started laughing. How can he get a red card for that, and the guy who elbows Camorenesi in the face didn't even get a talking to? What a load of bullshit.

Why is everyone blaming Ferrara? This loss was purely at the fault of the team. After our second goal we simply stopped running. Our right side got absolutely smashed on the counter and I blame all our full backs, namely Grygera for not getting back in time and covering their area. He did a good job offensively but first and foremost he has to cover the right side of the fucking pitch and I think Grosso would have been just as bad had Napoli directed their attacks down our left.
We should have replaced Gio or Diego with Ariaudo? Please, give me a break. If Ferrara did that this whole forum would be damning him to hell for letting Napoli play the game in our half and letting them back in the game.

This is purely a team loss. Let this be an example of what happens when you fall asleep on the pitch.

What do you want him to do? Slap them all in the face in numerical order? How much can he possibly do from the sidelines? The first goal should have woken the team up. These are proffessional footballers for heavens sake. They should know the start of a comeback when they see it.

What a terrible determination, tactics, system we played in the 2nd half. Awful, top awful performance in this 2nd half.

And people wonder why someone like me is so goddamn biased towards Del Piero, it's not because of the goals it's not because of couple of freekicks, but it's because he's such a smart player that can win you games without scoring or making an assist but by killing the goddamn rhythm of the game and knows when to stop the opponents attack by gaining foul after foul.

Buffon, can't be blame for the goals, not much he could have done.

Defenders, unprofessional.

Midfielders, where to start? Melo Poulsen were dead to say the least, but Tiago? I don't even know how to describe this prostitute at times, I didn't know what position he was playing, I didn't know what was his role I didn't know why the hell he was attacking and always in Napoli's penalty area when we were 2-0 instead of helping Melo and Poulsen and run his ass off. Not to mention the 3rd goal we conceded, that was such an amazing assist that he can only make it for his opponent but not for a teammate.

Attackers, Trezeguet, although he scored he was ZERO. I love him and all but the man should by now learn how to control the ball, waste time, fall down gain fouls. Scoring isn't always enough.
