Thinking that on paper we have easiest schedule of teams competing for the 4th CL spot. Just need Igor to get in these guys faces to perform. Atalanta, Bologna, Lazio, Roma all face tougher road and on par with Fiorentina's SOS. Team underwhelming most of season, just get it done when most needed. I'll forget all the poor play if we make it and look forward to 25-26 until they proved otherwise.

This is exactly the right approach by Igor. Dusan, Nico and Koop need to rediscover their form, and giving them consistent minutes and confidence can make a big difference. Right now is the perfect time, fixtures aren’t too intense, we’re not chasing any titles, and the UCL spot is still very much within reach. The smartest move is to use this time to get these players back on track so we can make more informed decisions in the summer. I’d even say we should give Douglas Luiz regular minutes for the rest of the season too, just to see where he stands. Might as well use this time to properly evaluate him. The club has made a big investment in all of these players, so getting them back to their best should be one of Igor’s top priorities.

Oops i might have miscalculated that, we’d actually take Atalanta outside of top 4 if both us and Bologna wins this round, but then we’d have Atalanta as direct rival for 4th also, not sure which scenario is best for us anymore lol

I don’t understand this “make informed decision” stuff. All the players you mentioned we are obligated to buy or make payments on in the summer. Their ships have already sailed. They were horrible signings to begin with and them getting minutes won’t change that.
