I wouldn't say we were poor. We were brilliant at times. Ronaldo should've had a hat trick. We just switched off in some parts of the game.
Referring to the games against Verona Brescia and Spal

De Ligt first touch with leg then went to elbow.
Elbow/arm was below the shoulder so even if it didn't touch/deflect with his leg it wouldn't been penalty too
Many referees would give that as penalty too much confusion with the rules

We got much better since Verona and Brescia. And nice job throwing SPAL in there. Berisha had a man of the season performance that day. We were not poor.

JJM's posts always gets me, because it's very plausible he writes them from a mental institution
I found his Twitter a while ago, or at least I think that was his since that was the name on the account and an avid Interista. Still crazy but not anything like his FIF form.

Hi
Can someone tell me why De Ligt elbow didnt award Bologna a penalty? Seriously asking I want to understand why the VAR told the ref to carry on

Those last 5 mins shouldn't offset how well the team did in the 2nd half. It was total domination and a lot of guys played very very well. They got tired and started to do stupid stuff.

from images the ball hit first the leg then the elbow.
And from the new rules if the arm/elbow isn't above the shoulder isn't penalty anyway.

There's at least 5 posts about it in last 2-3 pages, but I'll post again:

The following will not usually be a free kick, unless they are one of the above situations:

• the ball touches a player’s hand/arm directly from their own head/body/foot or the head/body/foot of another player who is close/near

• the ball touches a player’s hand/arm which is close to their body and has not made their body unnaturally bigger

•if a player is falling and the ball touches their hand/arm when it is between their body and the ground to support the body (but not extended to make the body bigger)

Regarding our players. Im worried about Rabiot.. He impressed me at pre season but now he seems like a player we shouldnt field.
Wondering if Ramsey is injured or was he just rested for the Russians

Just got back from injury. Did not play as a precaution.

"We watched it again afterwards and Bologna players were offside, so it wouldn’t have counted anyway,” Sarri told DAZN.

“I told the lads we mustn’t try to control a game, sit on a lead or be comfortable, because otherwise we leave ourselves in these risky situations to the very end.

“The sensation is that we moved the ball quicker after the break and Bologna were getting there a fraction of a second later. I don’t know if that’s because we did better or they were tired, having worked so hard in the first half to contain us.

“There’s a fine line between passing the ball effectively and just keeping ephemeral possession. In the last five minutes, we did it badly, as we lost the ball in banal fashion in our final third. We need to work on the details.

“It was a good game, but blighted by three or four horrible errors that we have to work on. I need to ensure the players realise we keep the ball for a reason, so possession is never kept just for the sake of it. We go into maintenance mode and that is never good.”

Federico Bernardeschi was again the trequartista behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain.

“He has very good stamina, so tracking back to defend suits him. It is an important role, as it allows the two strikers to work less, but admittedly it does make him less effective upfront and he lacked a bit of sharpness in front of goal this evening.”

Sarri is good friends with Bologna Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, who returned to the bench after his second course of chemotherapy.

“I talked to him from a distance, as I have a cold and don’t want to do him any damage. It gives me great joy to see him on the bench, the touchline and the training ground.”

Playing a player as AM because of his workrate :touched:

That Allegri fella has to go.
