The only way to bring back the past is to hire Moggi, fire the directors + president, and sell everyone except Gigi, Chiellini, Marchisio, Candreva, Caceres and Iaquinta.

Marchisio/Melo will have to work properly to cover Giovinco's defensive space. I believe with Chiellini's presence in the same side the area can be covered properly.

Its either Melo or Sissoko, with Marchisio or Poulsen. Candreva can play instead of camo and De Cegli can come in instead of Del Piero, Diego or Giovinco. In any case DC will be given the LM duties while the remaining two (of DP, Diego and Seba) will cover the AM and the SS positions. Amauri or Trezeguet for the strikers position.
