I don't buy that superstitious crap. We should have been riding high in confidence with our ridiculous undefeated streak and look what that got us in the CL thus far this year.
Could be, but I believe it was our confidence and knowing to keep the unbeaten streak alive that got us back from 2 goals behind at Stamford Bridge and our goal in Denmark.

I could be wrong, but this team hasn't responded well after defeats. Remember the 1-4 defeats at home against Bayern and Parma. Ruined our seasons too.

I am not as disappointed as I thought I would be. They were the only team in the last 50 Serie-A matches that really deserved to beat us.

BUT, if we scored on those fucking chances in first half we would have won it. Wake up call, take your fucking chances.

Dissapointed not to see Pogba we could of done with his ariel abilitys, we lost a lot of headers tonight and sadly asamoah's attacking limits where shown tonight.. Zanetti owned him real bad.

Yep. I trust Conte's abilities to keep the squad motivated. He'll know what to do.

In January, though, we HAVE to do something in the striker departement..
We had 3 months in the summer and we only managed to buy Bendtner, I cant see Marotta getting any quality players
This is what we have bought the previous years in January
1.Toni
2.Matri
3.Borriello
4.?????

I agree with most of the comments on here, but no-one has mentioned how badly we were tactically outsmarted.

Alessio was never going to change the system probably due to fear of Conte, but them pushing two front men onto the RCB and LCB and one on Pirlo high up the field, meant we couldn't play the ball out, so why are the back three so deep in our box in situations like goal kicks making the gap between the defensive line and the strikers enormous? We built our success playing a compact system with the defensive line pushing tight to the midfield line which chose the right times to push up towards the offensive line meaning we were rarely stretched?

Stramacunt pulled one out of the bag here and this shit is painful. Worst possible time to lose our aura of invincibility to the worst possible side at home too.

Let's hope we now do the opposite of what we did in the past when we beat the cunts and then lost to Bayern to get knocked out.

Actually third, Fiorentina raped us too.
Indeed, forgot about that one.

Around 20th minute Strama put Palacio as Pirlo's shadow. That's where we stopped playing because Pirlo simply had no space to operate. Then Licht did a stupid thing and disabled us from working on a tactic to compensate "the loss" of Pirlo.

Gotta give credit to inter. Credit where it's due. I'm not gonna fucking whine like a bitch when we were well beaten.
This. Lets not all become over sensitive fags like Linebreak. They were well worth their win.

Now lets see what our team is made of.
Fucking right, lads. Nice to see not everybody here is whinging like a little bitch, they were clearly the better team today.

Good to get the first loss out of the way, despite who it is against and at our home. Had a ridicolous ride this season where we kept winning despite lacking both in mentality (main issue) and any attacking prowess at all from our forwards.

This is the perfect time for a loss, IMO. This team has been dragging ass lately, and needed a kick, square in the pants. Time to get everybody fired up for a massive mid-week tie, and hopefully now Conte can actually justify tinkering with the formation a little more.

the funny thing is that everytime we buy a no.9, he either sucks from his first game to his last game or he scores for the first 10 games, and then sucks till his last game.

Marotta HAS to buy us a good striker in January, it's glaringly obvious at this stage that we need someone to score goals for us.

and we need wing backs who can cross the damn ball.

This loss may well be the step we need to go further. Let's face it, we're hitting walls lately. If the players can move on and gear up, then we'll be fine and probably better. The team are at the crossroad now, they have to make the steps for themselves.

What makes champions isn't about not losing because there's no such thing as being unbeatable. Rather, it's about how to chin up, take the loss, and aim for the next win.
