no use in even giving a fucking game recap....we played for 45 minutes today, and that was it

we have gotten used to mediocrity, as this ship has sunk to the bottom of the sea....I dont believe that we are better thjan any other Serie A team, and dont be too surprised to see an 11th place finish, with the way things are going

What sort of positive spin will we see out of ZERO, BLANK, SUCKO and the other village IDIOTS running (or should I say ruining) this team tomorrow.... we are satisfied because we ALMOST drew ???

Give me a fucling break....enough is ENOUGH !!!!

Ultras, we dont always see eye to eye, but do something useful, and show the idiots who manage this team that you are unhappy with the performances and results

Check out our table after todays matches and u will see how fast are we sinking

Have u all read the review of the game in the juventus.com, our official website.. Here another excuse, they call it 'luck' for Roma and 'determination' from us.. Such a lame mentality we have with all this excuses. Here if several of u hadn't read it, and sorry if it double posted.

Luck beats Determination

Ferrara has Sissoko back and the coach fielded a formation with the Mali national infront of the defence made up of Grygera, Legrottaglie, Chiellini and Grosso. In the midfield on each side feature Salihamidzic and Mrachisio with Diego behind striking duo Del Piero and Amauri.

Juve are determined and aggressive as from kick-off. On the 1st minute, Del Piero shoots from outside the area but the ball goes wide. One minute later, the Juve defence frees the area from a Roma ball.

It is the 2nd minute when Grygera puts a good ball into the area, Amauri heads but the defence clears. Six minutes later, Sissoko puts a ball forward for Amauri but the keeper manages to hold on and one minute later a A Salihamidzic attempt goes high.

The 11th minute sees a dangerous ball into the Juve area, Sossoko frees a first time and then a Vucinic shot following another cross hits the external part of the net. Two minutes later, the Roma defence manages to clear a good Juve ball in the area.

On the 14th minute, Marchisio puts a very dangerous cross into the area, Del Piero does not manage to head and the ball goes slightly wide. One minute later, Buffon grabs the ball just as Vucinic enters the area.

The 17th minute sees a Totti shot go high over the bar and 3 minutes later a perfect Grygera cross into the area sees Amauri heading wide as he is disturbed by a defender. The 21st minute sees a free-kick for Juve: Diego from 37metres puts the ball into the area but it cdleared for a corner.

There is a corner for Juve on the 22nd minute: Diego puts the ball into the area but Vucinic clears. Four minutes later, Juan clears into corner just as Amauri is about to reach an inviting ball. From the flag Diego puts a dangerous ball into the area which is cleared by the defence.

On the 27th minute, Marchisio enters the area and is about to conclude when he slips. Two minutes later, Buffon holds easily on a Vucinic shot. The 29th minute sees a Chielini cross being too strong for Amauri.

The half-hour mark sees a good cross into the area by Grosso but Amauri's header goes wide. Two minutes later, there is a corner for Juve after a good initiative: Diego puts the ball into the area and a Legrottaglie header goes inches wide. On the 36th minute, there is a free-kick for Juve after a foul on Diego: The Brazilian from 35metres puts a great ball into the area and Del Piero's header goes just wide.

Juve benefit from another corner on the 40th minute: Diego puts the ball in but Cassetti once again puts out for a corner: ball into the area cleared by the defence. Three minutes later, Del Piero is stopped for off-side as he shoots home.

On the 1st out of 2 minutes of stoppage time there is a free-kick for Juve after a foul on Marchisio: Diego's ball hits the wall. The last chance of the first half is for Roma with a Vucinic shot which goes high over the bar.

The second half starts with Roma on the attack but Juve controlling well. On the 1st minute, a free-kick for Roma is deviated into corner: from the flag the ball is put into the area but brought out by the defence.

On the 6th minute, a great shot by Del Piero from a lateral position flies into the net for the opener: 1-0. Three minutes later, Del Piero slips as he is about to enter the area following a good counter-attack. Four minutes later there is a good cross into the area by Brazzo but Amauri is caught on the wrong foot.

It is the 15th minute when there is a corner for Roma: ball into the area and Amauri heads away. One minute later, there is a free-kick for Juve: Del Piero shoots directly at goal but Julio Sergio is well placed and grabs the ball.

The 19th minute sees a corner for Roma: ball into the area but Buffon grabs. One minute later, there is a ball put into the Roma area but action is stopped for a foul in attack.

The match is about to take a turn and luck is the additional Roma player on the 21st minute as there is penalty for Roma following a Grosso foul on Taddei in the area: Totti scores for the equalizer (1-1).

On the 25th minute, Del Piero is fouled as he is about to enter the area but the referee signals to play on. Seconds later there is a Corner for Roma: ball into the area but Buffon grabs.

It is the half-hour when a Marchisio shot goes wide and Candreva comes on for Grygera making his debut for Juventus. Two minutes later there is a great ball by Sissoko into the area and Amauri heads well but the keeper manages to save.

On the 37th minute, Diego is fouled in the area but the referee indicates a corner. From the flag the ball is cleared by the defence. One minute later, Buffon is sent-off as he is forced to a technical foul on Riise who is about to enter the area alone. Manninger comes on for Del Piero.

The 39th minute sees a free-kick for Roma: Totti drives the ball into the wall. Five minutes later, a Taddei shot goes wide. The referee awards 4 minutes of stoppage time and on the 3rd of the extra minutes there is a ball into the Juve area and Riise heads home beyond Manninger for the 1-2.

The match ends with a 1-2 home defeat for Juve in a match which saw the bianconeri dominate for most of the time and expressing great football and determination. If in the last few matches one could have argued that Juve did not make an effort it was surely not the case in the match against the giallrossi which saw luck beat determination for a result which is far from truthful.

Ferrara: 'I'll find a way out'
Saturday 23 January, 2010
Ciro Ferrara is disappointed with the Juventus crisis, but insists he will see it through to “find a way out.”

This week a summit meeting at the club headquarters resolved to keep the Coach in his place, but after tonight's 2-1 home defeat to Roma he's back on the chopping block.

“Considering what the lads put out there in terms of aggression, commitment and at times quality, we certainly deserved more. Instead we are here commenting on a defeat that is painful, especially in a negative period like this.

“I tried to say a couple of words to the squad in this difficult time, but I stayed behind a little longer to evaluate and consider the situation by myself. We did not discuss things further with the team.

“What I said to the players was that they put a lot of effort in and played for the victory. I think this squad has strength, character and grit needed to overcome this moment together. These are times when you need to be strong men and they are.

“There's no point hiding we are in a difficult situation. At times our defeats have been deserved, at times less so, but the fact remains we are quite far behind now.”

Juve are now five points adrift of third-placed Roma and with results this weekend could drop out of the Europa League spots too.

“Independently from the quality of the players, when you go through a period like this then some mistakes can be made. It's tough for everyone, including the whole team and myself. I'm disappointed with this situation.

“I was a Juventus player for many years, a director and now their Coach. If there's one thing I have in my heart then it is the desire to resolve this problem.

“With the directors we have discussed during the week about this moment. It's something that happens frequently in the last few weeks. All together we need to find a way out.”
what a perfect way to start my day :sergio:

How can a player that barely receives the ball most matches be mostly to blame for poor performances that stem from horrendous marking and incredibly poor midfield play? Just look at the displays. We've had zero ideas with the ball, zero movement in midfield, we keep losing the midfield battle, the fullbacks are terrible in support of attacks and in defending, and the centerbacks are suspect in marking at times. Amauri should[/] be doing a better job in moving himself, he should be connecting better with teammates, he should be finishing his chances, without a shadow of a doubt. But since he has seen so little of the ball over the past few months, and had so little support from midfield, how can he take most of the blame?

Amauri has been terrible, but there have been other culprits in the team that have created far more disasters, specifically Melo who was supposed to sure up the midfield and Grosso who was supposed to be the solution for the left flank. But they've been nothing short of terrible.

The engine room is the midfield, and when it's sputtering out of control, the rest of the system has trouble functioning. Putting matters into scale, the larger problems are in midfield and defense, not Amauri's poor form, so I'm not sure how he is a main culprit here. He needs to do much better, and if he doesn't he should be shipped out. But since there is so little support behind him I can't point to him as the major problem.

You are spot on and really know your stuff. I agree:tup:

What annoyed me the most last night is that had Grosso kept his handicapped hand down instead of hugging the opposition and taking him down that ball was easily going to be cleared by Marchisio who was coming as fast as the light.

Sissoko's presence was felt even if he can't pass a ball. 1st half was better than what we saw these couple of months but that was mainly due to motivation. Saw that vs inter and a bit vs Roma. A coach should also be a good motivator for those games vs "smaller" clubs. Ciro doesn't have that either.

    You gotta be kidding me?

No fault at all for the dude who lost the ball in midfield? No fault at all for the defenders who were nowhere to be seen? No "fault" for Pizzaro's perfect cross?

We wouldn't have conceded this goal if it was Giovinco or Del Piero instead of Candreva? What if it was Tiago?

No matter what anyone says, the guy is an AM.
Stop with the double standards already.
You're making far too much sense for this thread.
