P.S This VAR thing is ridiculous.. We had a goal approved while it should have been disallowed for offside
We had a penalty on Higuain not given not even used for VAR
Lazio had a penalty and instead of looking for VAR and see Buffon didnt touch him the penalty was given..
Then in the final minute we got a penalty for a non existing foul (He got the ball)

The performance of the defense has a lot to do with our midfield. Keep praising Bentancur as much as you want, but that kid is nowhere near being ready for this stage. He's the liability that keeps hurting our defense. We have many other problems, though. The newcomers are atrocious and the injuries are killing us.

The newcomers did fine. It was the veterans in Chiellini, Barzagli, Lichtsteiner and Asamoah which were the problem today.

Cause Lazio were smart enough to let Asa, Giorgio and Licht/Sturaro alone and unmarked so they could "attack".

Bentancur, Khedira and Matuidi were dominated by Parolo, Leiva and SMS (who was incredible.. we have to go all in on him next summer.)

Our defence was total SHIT! Theirs on the other hand was incredible. Bastos looked like Maldini in his best days.

Stats-wise, perhaps. Costa scored and Bernardeschi won a penalty. While Berna's game is hard to rate because Lazio played so many men behind the ball, Costa was painfully terrible.

The loss is not his fault, but he was brought in to add something to the attack, and he didn't do shit. I'm just pissed off about his subs, let's not even start about bringing in Sturaro. But fine, whatever, what I would like to know is why the hell Sami was playing, why Barzagli was on the field and Asamoah as well, he's just useless.

• Miss Marchisio and Pjanic
• New signings needs to step up (Costa, Berna, Matuidi)

I agree up to a certain point...
You have to take into account there is too much pressure on Bentancur because they want a rookie 20 year old to break down defences against a in-form Lazio whyle also wanting him to cover defensively for our most (less)creative and tuz' proclaimed "box to box" midfielders Matuidi and Khedira ... there's no creativity from our midfield when Pjanic's out FFS and that ofc affects our game both defensively and atacking wise
