deja vu from the other day
I said this in the live thread. VAR guy gets to show the frame in which the ball supposedly leaves Cuadrado’s foot for the pass. So contrary to the idea that any human error is taken out by VAR, it is up to human interpretation still.
I don’t know that’s the case here, that they chose the wrong frame, it’s very hard to say, but choose the pass leaving a millisecond or two earlier and he’s onside. And that’s my problem with VAR deciding fractional offsides.
VAR should only be used for obvious mistakes on offside calls, not a matter of millimetres where human interpretation comes into play yet again. The same way it is used for penalties and red cards. Only for very obvious errors.

We missed him against crotone aswell even worse.
None of other attackers have the presence and leadership to drive the attack forward relentlessly. We look far too casual and lackadaisical without Ronaldo pushing.
Morata has done great in his absence, burying pretty much every chance he’s gotten, but it speaks volumes that the team just isn’t creating chances behind him, and doesn’t seem to have much drive or urgency to do so. And neither Morata or Dybala are the types to be the ones demanding that urgency and drive.
