I know many of you will hate this remark but Quag shouldnt have started over Borriello not only did he score two in a row but his understanding with Vuinic is much better than Quags
thats true, i would have liked to see boriello at least come on for quag, but i guess this substitution with matri was more of a "man managing" thing than actually thinking that matri would have given more than boriello. boriello has more drive to show what he is worth and would definitely have given more on the pitch and as much as it hurts to say del piero did not add much today. he somehow looked disinterested and perhaps upset that he came on the pitch so late. if i was a coach and i would see a player who i bring on for the last 20 minutes more standing than running, then it is righteous to ask if this player is fit enough to play in the first place. players should be able to be running their butt off if they know that they do not have to reserve the stamina for latter since the game is gonna be over in 20 minutes.

stupid enough that buffon did NOT learn from his first scene where he was lucky to escape the pressure of the striker... thats to much cockyness if you think you are invincible and can do that shit over and over again. in the fricking 80 minute or something such a thing ... i can not comprehend that

Ok, I am over the fuckup.

Our team is to blame for second half, we should have buried that match long time ago. I knew the goal was coming, but it hurts that it was Buffon. This may fuck our mentality, but I am glad Conte is our coach. We are still holding our own destiny.
That is what worries me because this puts a lot of pressure in our players

Buffon's never been very comfortable with the ball at his feet. Over the last several years he's had a number of avoidable close-calls mucking about his own box. Such a shame he gets punished for it at such a crucial moment. Still, if there's a character that can get over it, it's him.

You drama queens.

We will beat Cagliari easily and it will be engineered by none other than Mirko and Marchisio. Then the Atalanta game will just be routine. Bam!

I know Inter are pretty much out of the CL race considering they'll have to gain a point on Lazio and 3 on napoli and udinese but a derby is a derby and they wont just roll over for Milan. They hate Milan just as much as us and they're not going to want to do them any favours at all. I think Milan are by far the better team but there are 2 results in that game that are positive for us and 1 that is negative. It really is 50/50, we cant write inter off

True champions are made when they face and overcome adversity. Lets be honest, we haven't had any thus far this year, yes we fell behind Milan by 4 pts but we had so much time still to catch up. This is the real test, the advesity that will define Conte and this team. Time for the real men, the real Juve to step forward and snatch that scudetto away from Milan's dirty little hands.! FORZA JUVE! Sempre!

The goal wasn't really in the air, though. In the matches where we lost pts after taking the lead (I can think of Chievo, Genoa, Cagliari), the opponents were actually dangerous and the goal was in the air. Tonight the problem was of a different kind. Lecce were neither attacking nor creating nor did they look dangerous in any way. They were never gonna equalize without such a brainfart. Not even in another 90 minutes. Actually, exactly the fact that Lecce were impotent and weren't even trying cost us the win. One of our players wasn't concentrated because, just like the rest of us, saw a Lecce that isn't trying to score and won't be dangerous even if they try.

I was so close to punch my GF in the teeth when we concedef. And guess what? She supports Milan :sergio:
My wife is not talking to me right now. She came in the room less than a minute before we conceded and guess who I blamed for the equalizer :sergio:

I'll sleep on this chair tonight.

I've been worried all season that Buffon would have a brain explosion and do what he did there.

Unfortunately it happened at the worst possible time. I was really disappointed in Conte bringing in Caceres for the injured DC. It meant that we were rarely threatening on the wings all game. Following Giach's fantastic performance last game, I'm not sure why he wasn't brought on to do more of the same. Caceres was close to useless as a LWB and he cannot be blamed for that it's simply not his position.

Added to that we were wasteful infront of goal and Vidal deserves particular mention here. He had two great chances infront of goal and failed to convert.

But all if not lost!

We are still 1st on the table with plenty to play for and this draw will serve is a massive wake up call to the entire squad!

Forza Juve!

Winning the Scudetto by one point will be all the more sweeter!

My GF was laughing like a small rat out of the hole. Fuuuuuck, the shit that happened tonight was painful and I could not watch the whole match because the TV station showed both matches. I realised that Lecce equalised when I heard the Milan fans shouting. My GF had no clue why they are chanting. What a faux fan!

Im with you guys, I never liked Boriello but the last 2 games he woke up, scored in 2 consecutive games and I feel should have started or come on instead of Matri who hadn't played in forever. I wonder what Conte's reasoning was for not playing him afer he's scored 2 goals in a row and a huge decisive one 2 weeks bacK!
