I'd rather play Marrone in Marchisio's role, while Marchisio takes a defensive role (guy's very disciplined defensively) and play Giac instead of Pepe in a 4-3-3 than see that horrible 3-5-2 again.

Even when we used the 3-5-2 we had one highly offensive and one highly defensive winger. Esti was almost always taking the left side and Licht the right side. Only once, last week, we used different wingbacks (De Ceglie and Padoin), but again it was a midfielder+defender. In the formation you guys posted we have Licht and De Ceglie.
I don't think that we'll play with 5 defenders (for the first time this season) at home to Chievo.

I see your point, but honestly DC is better offensively then Esti, that says alot of what a sad winger Esti is.


Licht is horrible in 3-5-2, but last time Padoin played in his position in that formation he was unbearable.

He's still a kid and I'd trust Marchisio over Marrone in a defensive role. Plus, I think Marrone has what it takes to play closer to the box, anyways, that's what Conte did this season, didn't he?
