One thing is worrying, we keep insisting on playing with crosses, but since Cuads there is no one in this team who can put a good cross more than once a season.

I don't mind having a 2 man midfield. We don't have many good midfielders to make a 3 worthwhile and it can get more attacking players on the pitch.
But if we are going to do it, we need someone to just sit in the defensive area in front of the defence and mop things up. Too often we are letting teams run through the middle. We also need to be brave with the attacking players. Play an actual RWB at RWB to give some attacking threat down the right and play attackers in roles that suit them. It feels like Tudor is trying to get the best of both worlds and failing.
I much rather have a third midfielder than a third CB. I actually think we have some good enough B2B midfielders for Serie A standards in Koop, Adzic, McK, Thuram and Miretti. Locatelli could play that defensive role you mentioned. Even Cambiaso could play mezz'ala in emergency situations.

Yeah we absolutely need to, cover the lack of quality in the midfield with another mid. Not to mention it suits all of them more anyway.
It would allow players like Thuram and Adzic to have more freedom as well. It would also allow someone to play as that link in the middle of the park without leaving us completely exposed. We hardly have any presence centrally near the other teams box, if Yildiz isn't drifting in we have nothing.
So disappointing to drop points at home against such a weak Atalanta.
Our next 5 games across all competitions:
UCL: Villareal (A)
Serie A: Milan (H)
Serie A: Como (A)
UCL: Real Madrid (A)
Serie A: Lazio (A)
I'm really worried about this run of games.
Reminds me of that Manchester United fan who isn't cutting his hair (sorry Lion) until they win 5 games in a row. Would be hilarious if a member here took on the same challenge.

In theory, yes.
But what we're seeing is that our midfield is often overrun, while our attacking players are often lost in the middle of nowhere with very few options. Never mind that those attacking players regularly need to refrain from actually attacking, just to keep some sort of balance in the middle.
Our formation looks like an attacking one, based on the players on the pitch, but in reality I don't think it is. (Not that it needs to be, obviously.)
Should stop complaining about referee decisions، rgardless of whether they were against Juve or not, Atalanta have been trashed by their CL opponents, by more than three or four goals, but we still can't beat them. This shows the technical distance between Juve and the top level of European football. Even if it was a penalty, we should have scored it to change the result, but there is still a gap between the European giants and Juve, we are far behind them.
