Penalty
That's only a penalty in Spain and Italy. Why don't people bitch about the shirt pulling on Llorente after a corner in the same game?

As i've said right then when it happened. It's a penalty. He was tripped, no matter how much he exaggerated or delayed his fall.
Tripped?
He could easliy run, which he did, but decided to dive when he realized the ball was too far away.

And that referee will be in the WC.
And he happens to be the best in world.

Edit: He's so bad that they decided he should ref last seasons CL final.

another example where Italian refs and European differ, those are always a penalty in Europe but in Serie A manhandling is allowed in the box during set-pieces. Chiellini being the victim of the different standards against Madrid.

Dude, it's a penalty. El Kebaburi made a meal out of it, but there was 100% contact.
IMO, awarding a penalty under the circumstances would have been criminally unearned. The contact was incidental. El Kad had no hope of heading towards goal in a threatening situation, and was losing control of the ball -- and thus decided to dive to fish for charity from the referee.

Awarding a pk under the circumstances would have been charity.

Whether contact is incidental or intended has no bearing on whether a foul has occurred.

Så fatter du ikke fodbold.

Not so many games ago, when Giovinco was knocked down in the penalty area, but the reaction from most fans here was 'get up you pussy' (it was a clear as day penalty).
Then all of Balotelli's and Zlatan's penalties were legit, you hypocrites.
