Our midfield is betraying us for quite some time now. Tevez is putting them all to shame with his work rate. Also, it is an obvious tactic to conserve energy, and that's the main reason why the midfielders are not moving well or why the CBs see the ball so much. It's a matter of time until we're trashed on the ground again, and it might happen in Europe. We badly need players with technique who can pass the ball.
Yeah they havent been great as of late.

Talking about conserving energy in the second half ;). Ridiculous game honestly where we relied on our defense and gambled on that one goal lead. However, in the first half we had difficulties breaking down those two walls of defense.. so having this in mind Conte wanted to temp Torino to put a bit of pressure on our back three. This was the case two/three times in the beginning of the second half which led to more space and a couple of opportunities up front.

Indeed, we're filled with strength, yet no brain.

Our whole midfield is all muscle with occasional magic from Pirlo and sometimes from Pogba. Our wingers way too defensive. Llorente is rather static when we're playing bad so we can hardly rely on him to solve a hard match.

We badly need a brain in this team.

They aren't running and they look badly tired. Perhaps all of them want to be prepared for the world cup and they don't want to burn early? Or perhaps Conte is aware that we're very thin in midfield and he's the one who doesn't want to burn them early.

Yep you definitely get the impression that we are doing the absolute minimum to get results and conserving energy. In the last 4 games (both Verona sides, in the Europa league and now Torino), it has to be said that we have not played anywhere near our potential. I think we are fortunate that we have still been getting results - we were lucky that Torino didn't get a penalty, we were lucky not to concede against Trabanzbor.

Probably not. People are so pessimistic all the time. Ffs, we one the derby - be happy.
I am happy.

I also think Scudetto is basically ours. We might drop a point or two, but so will Roma, sooner or later.

I just want to us to show balls on the field and look hungry for win. We lost the thirst we had when Conte first came here.

And people paid tickets to see Bonucci and Caceres passing the ball between them for like 11 minutes while Torino players stood there and watched. :facepalm2::facepalm2:

I think its probably just a dip in form. No one has stood out. It was nice not to concede a goal today I guess...
