Talking about conserving energy in the second half . Ridiculous game honestly where we relied on our defense and gambled on that one goal lead. However, in the first half we had difficulties breaking down those two walls of defense.. so having this in mind Conte wanted to temp Torino to put a bit of pressure on our back three. This was the case two/three times in the beginning of the second half which led to more space and a couple of opportunities up front.

Indeed, we're filled with strength, yet no brain.

Our whole midfield is all muscle with occasional magic from Pirlo and sometimes from Pogba. Our wingers way too defensive. Llorente is rather static when we're playing bad so we can hardly rely on him to solve a hard match.

We badly need a brain in this team.

In the last 4 games (both Verona sides, in the Europa league and now Torino), it has to be said that we have not played anywhere near our potential.
