I hope that both Pato and Seedorf do indeed miss this game; it will be somewhat easier playing against a Milan side without them.
Indeed.
First of all, I don't see why people think Milan will destroy us. Genoa went to San Siro with a stupid 3-4-3, and after Moretti's injury when Modesto replaced him (at 1:1), they played with only 1 CB and only 2 defenders (Biava and Criscito).
Genoa's team for 60 minutes of the match was consisted of 1 goalkeeper, 2 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 attackers. It was piss easy for Dinho, Beckham and especially Borriello to attack and find spaces. Even worse for Genoa, their CMs played a bloodless game and let Ambrosini do whatever he wants.
Juve won't let Milan do the same.
Two very slow teams will nullify eachother easily. Chiellini, helped by Canna will stand a much bigger chance against Borriello than Biava did. On Dinho and Beckham we'll always have two players. Grygera's job will be to stay close to Dinho all the time and the MR will always be there to help, while the same will be done to Beckham.
In CM Melo and Poulsen won't do what Milanetto and Juric did and Ambro/Pirlo will be closed down, which will leave Gattuso as Milan's "threat" from midfield.
Of course, this is all assuming that we'll also play the same formation that played Parma.
In that case, we'll also be easy to close down, because Diego and Amauri will find themselves alone most of the time against Milan's defense.
Set-pieces will probably decide the winner if there is a winner and goals at all.
