When in doubt, I will almost always adopt a cautious approach.

Sabet nailed it, in my view. This has been my thesis for quite some time. The last thing we want to do with our horrendous defense is sit back and allow them to keep running at us. The more the opposition has the ball, the more they attack us, the better chance they have at testing Legro and the rest of the clowns.

But the problem for us is that we can't seem to keep the ball, or sustain pressure on the opposition for a decent period of time. Since we can't seem to do that, this sort of tactic doesn't work as well.

It's a prudent approach, but the reason I don't like it is because of this. The answer to a weak defense is not more defense. Teams need to play to their strengths, and if you have weak players at the back, the best idea is naturally to keep the ball away from them. This sort of thinking reminds me of Keynesian economists who believe that the answer to recessions caused by credit expansion and free spending can be solved by more credit expansion and more spending. It's quite the paradox, but that's what some folks believe, that adding fuel to fires solves problems.

I'm not against having a few defensive midfielders, but having a midfield of Brazzo - Poulsen - Melo - Marchisio is just over-doing it. And we can be sure that we won't be able to keep the ball with the opposition troubling our defense no matter what.

I hope that both Pato and Seedorf do indeed miss this game; it will be somewhat easier playing against a Milan side without them.

I have no faith in Ferrara (the man after all is responsible for the "Bavarian Mauling in Turin", our worst home defeat in Europe in over 40 years!) or the team to be honest, but I will watch the game, just to see if there is any visible improvement in our performance.

If Ferrara was able to keep Milan in their half depending on counterattacks, then we could make another 4-2, the thing with Leonardo's Milan is that they either struggle or make hundreds of chances, depending on the freedom and spaces allowed by the opposition, so if we keep Ronnie and Becks tied, press on their oh-very-slow DMCs and full backs, and finally to STOP stupid useless long balls, then we're winning this one easily
This game is Diego, Giovinco and Amauri's best chance to shine

I am hoping to see this, but with Ferrara anything is possible

I was watching Serie A highlights and I found it disturbing. how the fuck much weaker sides like Fiorentina are playing kind of football we all envy? We were never so attractive but we had a game plan. Now you can see that ''WTF'' expression in face of our players.

I expect nothing from this match but a honourable stand. Forza Juve as always

You know Juventuz morale is low when there is a Juve vs Milan thread but a distinct lack of "BLOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM".

Even with the Ale assist picture posted.
