Giovinco really wasn't that good against Chelsea. He just made a few poor crosses and took on their right back successfully a couple of times.
:sergio: you must be joking

Giovinco was incredible in the 20 mins he got in that game. Before he was introduced we look like a defeated team without ideas, it was after he entered the game Juve got rejuvenated. The guy brought Chelsea's defense to it's knees and brought the Olimpico to life for the final minutes of that game. I remember before Cheillini was wrongfully sent off their was that belief that we could win the game and the tie. even down to 10 men we were confident until Drogba scored 6 mins from the end.

If Giovinco had played in both legs from the start we would have won the tie.

giovinco will probably never make it at juve and he will probably never be half as good as messi or people of messi's calibre, but you must not have seen that chelsea game. giovinco was incredible. brought a new life to the team.
Nothing really came out of it. There was a youtube video (I saw the full game btw, not a casual youtube viewer) thrown around of every touch he had in that game and a lot of the time he had no end product. When people say "their defence had no answer for him" and I see the amount of crosses which never made it past the first man then I don't think he performed as near to what some think he did. All he showed was a great deal of promise to me.

This was the same kind of promis Messi was showing in the 04/05 and 05/06 seasons. Messi became the player he is today because Rijkaard gave him the chance to grow and make mistakes. while Juve is hindering Giovinco's progress.

What does those 3 coaches have in common? lets see.....they're all Italian with their outdated tactics and football philosophy. The reason they don't want to play him is because of his size and their "he can't play defense excuse" watch every game that Giovinco played for Juve, we won 7 out 10 and have done so with an exciting brand of football.
I was just kidding. I'm annoyingly pro-Giovinco and I agree with you that he was really good against Chelsea.

Good. Newspaper ratings are the answers to life.

Maybe you should watch games instead of trying to figure out what's what by journalists' opinions.

Keep those guys healthy and we should have no problems getting CL. I think its prery accurate, although Diego could be higher.. I guess that has something to do with expectations....

:agree:

Just like Marchionni did in the first leg.
Defenders marking their opponent is one level of skill. Marchionni takes it to a whole other level. Which is why I reserve the term "Marchionni" for that special kind of marking that Grygera did last night.

Blanc & Secco must leave now, its obvious that they cant handle football in any way, Whats wrong with the Elkanns? are they actually enjoying us losing? or maybe theyr benefiting out of it.
Grygera is not Juve material, i think we're already tired of saying that.

If you think they suck now then wait until you hear who goal.com is reporting we are going to sign in the summer.....Kuranyi, Amauri part 2. God I pray this is not true

can't we just close a game thread when we lose? its the same thing every time and what is the point in discussing something we already all know?
