Thinking about asking a girl on a date to a sports bar to watch this one, good idea or not? :p
Not a good idea. Terrible idea if first date lol

Workable idea if its like 5th date and you already know she likes you enough lol to put up with full football match thats a regular obsessession for you.

If you stopped counting then she should be comfortable enough (without the new interest expectations) to sit watch a game in loud bar with drinks with you. See it as way to prepare her for the future :D

Does she like football? If the answer is no then don’t do it unless she really likes football.

Imagine if she told you come sit with her while she gets her nails done for 2 hours. You would lose your mind

Back in 2018 I was in Vienna with my wife, without the kids. She had tickets for a concert in Musikverein. It wasn't the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra performing, some Chinks or Japs were playing some classical pieces. They were really good. The problem was that there was a Tottenham-Juve match later that night, and right after the concert I forced her to join me in a nearby sports bar to watch the second half. Juve won and so on, but she literally didn't speak to me for 2 days after that, after ruining the night for me because she couldn't stop complaining during the match. "How can you take me to a sports bar after such an experience bla bla bla".

Short answer to Strickland - don't.

Can't blame her but not because you took her to a sports bar after a fine classical concert, no.

Because you forced her to watch Allegro's Jj. Unforgivable.
