Horrible performance and result three games in a row. Just not good enough. Lack of cutting edge, sterile in possession, lack of final ball, players stumbling over the ball in key moments and not enough risks taken to secure a win. Three games in a row now. A little bit of a concern tbh. We have zero clue how to break down parked buses. These starts are TERRIBLE for a big game.

Also, Motta got the starting lineup completely wrong. And also no idea why he made only two subs when we were clearly struggling to create or do much and we only played a few days ago. Allegri would have been (rightly) slaughtered for drawing three games 0-0.

Di gregorio has barely been tested all season, the defense is solid. But weve got a Vlahovic problem and Milik aint gonna solve it either.
We won’t go very far at all with this issue we currently have. Yes, he’s made us more solid, but the lack of striker and Motta’s risk free and conservative style of play will see us continue to drop points and look very slow and predictable against low block teams.

Given the horrible impotent performance aside, Koop not hitting the target on his chance is simply unacceptable. Our most expensive signings this summer are either shooting for the moon or jogging in training.

Disappointing overall performance with quite a number of questionable choices and changes from our side, too many gambles and experiments all at once… only positive is that we’ve somehow managed to keep another clean sheet despite being prone to many dangerous counters, otherwise there’s plenty still to work on in all aspects of our game before we can really start speaking about progress and cohesiveness.

However not scoring again is starting to be more than just a bit worrying, something isn’t clicking upfront when faced with tight defenses, then also dealing with shit refs to top it off isn’t easy either but should not be an excuse, the draw is sadly a fair result all in all.

Obviously an Atalanta system player so we will need to give him time to deliver good performances.

A few players looked they had nothing left with 15 minutes still to go. Maybe individual brilliance from Luiz or with Thurman coming on sooner could have did the trick or at least provided a few scoring chances.

I trust Motta will get the job done but hard to imagine McKennie playing as much as he has and Luiz can't see the field when McKennie was just to be just a throw-in for the big deal that provided us the supposed game-changer Luiz. Scratching my head.

That is abysmal refereeing.

That's 2 blatant calls in the past 2 games that the ref hasn't called that could have changed the game.
Never seen it called so if called a PK attempt?

From way I looked at it NAP player was probably trying to pass to other CB but fuked it up and you're right GK shouldn't have to allowed to hand touch it. What player in that play situation does that without intention of either clearing or passing ball.
