I agree. Losing points against Lazio won't help us and it'd be a shame if those "rested" players wouldn't beat Chelsea later (which is possible). Pirlo will get his rest but the others have work to do. Giovinco, Vucinic and Quag need to play more than anything else. Vidal and Marchisio should be taken off the field if things go our way. Isla is fresh and in good form, no need for rest too and Asamoah can make it. Let's hope defenders won't play full 90 mins vs France and we should be fine.

Vucinic simply HAS to play against Chelsea no question, his experience and ability to do something out of nothing that none of our other strikers can offer is a necessity. Giovinco didn't work against Chelsea last time and I'm not confident it will this time around either, got muscled off the ball too easily by bigger, stronger, more experienced centre halves. Quagliarella is in-form so it's a no brainer for me, even if he doesn't score against Lazio, Conte should stick with him and I hope that he will.

Would rather not see Matri at this game, as he is definitely not a player I am going there to see!

They did, but Vucinic should also definitely get some playing time. First of all, he scored twice in a friendly match today, and second of all, which is most important, he always relishes the matches against Lazio.
