I'm with the Boner on this one. And yet I do feel we have the midfield edge in general. The problem is our midfield form isn't as good as Inter's at the moment, IMO.

You know i really feel that The PUMA and Paddy will be Awesome this game....Also Neddy and Camo will play their hearts out. I hope this will turn the tides toward us. Also i hope the DP and Trez connect multiple times during the course of the night.........we also need a great performance from Superman guarding the net.... :agree:

Forza Juve 2-1

    I would go with:

    ............................................1-Buffon......................................

    ..21-Thuram.................6-Kovac.......28-Cannavaro..........14-Balzaretti..

    ..16-Camoranesi...........4-Vieira........8-Emerson...............11-Nedved..

    ..................................17-Trezeguet....10-Del Piero.........................

Ok, this is Derby D'Italia, so we must play our very BEST team available... in my opinion this is the best we have right now...

    Forza Juventus !!!

    29 - 13 = 16

Internazionale president Massimo Moratti says he regrets allowing Robbie Keane to leave the club.

The Tottenham striker had a short stint in Milan after a £13 million move from Coventry City in 2000.

A year later, he was on his way back to England with Leeds United after a successful loan spell at Elland Road.

Moratti admits he is a great fan of Keane and should have showed more patience with the Republic of Ireland international.

"I admit Robbie Keane is a big regret," said Moratti.

"The other day, I was watching him play for Tottenham on the television.

    "He had a perfect game.

"He had a thousand touches and not one mistake.

    "It drives me mad!

"It was my choice to bring him to Inter. I liked him as a player, but he didn't shine with us.

    "And now look at him!"

this is exaclty what i was thinking about! about the starters,
i repeat and im glad many posters agree with it,
this game is going to be won (or lost) by the midfield,
we have the material to cut through Inter's midfield and make them two pieces,
like we did the last time,
i believe that Caps tactics will have a great effect on Mancini's type of play
and if Mancini wont try a ala Spaletti type of defensive play,
we are doomed to own them tactically,
therefore i believe Mancini has all the pressure (and the tools) to choose an offensive scheme, again, we can handle...as long as our defensive duo performance is equal to the last one
(sorry Swag i have to disagree on the tactical advantage:D )

BUT esp Vieira's bad form might costs us the game here...

Sorry mates, but I think Trez has no chance of beating Toni this season...

Ahhh, you're just playing to Italian media and paranoia. ;)

Aside, bummer about Zambro. We need serious consistency at the defensive wing, and we just don't have it for CL-level matches without him. :frown:

Also, I hate to be a pessimist, but I see no reason why we should with this Derby D'Italia. Every factor I can think of turns up Inter:

    * Form: Inter has had their share of problems, but the loss to Fiorentina at the Tardini is hardly a disgrace. Meanwhile, Juve are struggling to keep the bad lone goal out of the net from inferior competition, and we're playing long ball desperation to get just one goal at the other end. Advantage: Inter.
    * Motivation: Juve can afford to lose and still be up 6 points. Inter loses, and they will have to face the reality of their futility far sooner than usual. Advantage: Inter.
    * Venue: San Siro. Advantage: Inter.
    * Coaching: Not that Mancini is going to do more than Cuper ever did, other than the Coppa Italia, but Mancini is coaching to win right now. While Capello is coaching not to lose. Advantage: Inter.

OK, one thing in our favor: Inter's history and Juve's history. Advantage: Juve every time.

Still, I can't see us winning the battle. The war is still largely in our favor.

    Inter 2-0. :(

Valid points from a neutral and objective point of view!
These are the facts and this is what normally would happen...
BUT i sure hope, here is the moment where the heart of the Champion will take a step forward and claim the victory...
i sure hope Cap will try to "brainwash" our players and "dope" them for a win,
that ^ is NOT the way to do it,
we have our reasons to fight for the victory,
we souldnt give up before the match,
we sould go there and fight, we sould proove we have no opponent in Italy,
    Europe sould fear us,
we sould proove Inter, we dont need the refs to win them because they are no match for us, we sould demonstrate the world we arent the champions because we win the small clubs only (with the help of the refs)...
we sould shut their big mouth,
we have our motives and they are no more men than us...

and he ususally deliveres in them

    Juve, scatta l'emergenza difesa
    Zambrotta ko, a S.Siro tocca a Kovac

In attacco.

    ---
    briefly

Juve played with 3 men defens in trainings.
Cannavaro, kovac and Thuram will be the three defenders because of the absence of Zambrotta and Zebina...
Ibra is not 100% fit so its likely dp and trez start and ibra might come in as a subs...

Though juve might use also 4 man defens with thuram, cannavaro, kovac and balzaretti....

the articel talks about differant lineups in defens (3men defens or 4 men defens, thuram, kovac and cannavaro will start for sure....and balzaretti is moust likely the 4 defender, second will be chiellini and last choise pessotto...)

maybe a 3man defence is a more proper option,
Camo and Balza to be the wings in a 3-5-2 or 5-3-2
    and Neddy behind the strikers,
but this is not an option because Cap never tried it and we cant risk in a such important game,
thats why we sould do such experiments against weaker teams...

cap doesnt do it because his usual tactic works usually well(we get 3points) but now the situation is differant....zebi and zambro are both out....cap has to try this because of the situation.....
