I see that some people gave Trezeguet 7.5, but I don't think that's right. Zlatan could just as much have nailed that shot instead of passing it to Trezeguet. Although Trezeguet is a fabulous player and scored the opening goal, I don't think he's worth more than 7 in this game.
excellent point.People overreact when a player scores,I am not saying Trezeguet was bad he also gave the assist btw (but it's not like he made the second goal if u know what i mean) 7.5 is too much,so what if he scored two goals?8?and what if he scores a hat trick 9?

this was my comment on him btw

Vieria - 6. He hasn't been quite the same force he was to start the season, but overall I liked his presence out there today. Some of his long ball passes have terrific accuracy and show great down-the-field thinking, as when he caught Zlatan breaking downfield in the assist on our first goal.
.
I think your rating on Vieira is a little flattering. Especially as that pass to Zlatan, breaking downfield, wasn't done by Vieira, but by Emerson.

but snoop this is Trez job in this game if he scores he should get a high rating, he was involved in both goals, but 7 will be fair. if he didn't score he can easily get 5

rating is not all about goals he scored, also about goals he could score, how much he caught on offside etc.. manyt things

I gave him between 6.5-7 I don't think I am telling something else, but 7.5 is very high rating you know?

Watching the match again last night on La Domenica Sportiva, I caught that. It was Emerson who set up the long ball to Ibra to set up the score. You are most definitely correct.

Nice game of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, nice first half and a quite ridiculous second half
Who will be a manager? Capello will be extolled for not making any subs, when in all honesty, he looked clueless and was expecting a draw, cos quite frankly , if it was me, i would have taken off, both Zlatan and Nedved, but then again I would have failed as we went on to win with Capello ding nothing but folding his arms. While his opposite number decides to bring on Maggio who was quite hopeless thruout and Pancaro who helped us to win the game. Basic rule of defending, Guisseppe, do not let the ball bounce.
I thought we played really well in the first half but then again i was half asleep, but it looked good and the tempo was nice. In the second half , the game generally was poor , but this time i was awake, but Fiorentina cannot defend and Luca Toni falls down too much.
Abiatti put up a very fine performance as he made some telling stops which might have embarassed us 6.5
Zambrotta : contrary to what I am reading on here, i was quite impressed with him, as he continued to turn Brocchi inside out and that was why Prandelli brought on Pancaro for Brocchi which ironically gave us our winning goal. But I thought he was good yesterday 6.5
Chiellini: I keep on reading he has potential and he is good, i am sorry, i cannot see the potential and I am not impressed with him at all, and he was not good yesterday either 5
Cannavaro: I gotta say , he has not impressed me that much this season and it was not exception in this game 5.5
Thuram: was simply superb as he showed Toni who is boss , ramming those assholes voices with their stupid racist chants down their throats 7
Vieria: held on too the ball , too long and lost it twice in dangerous positions far too often, passes went astray and not that happy with his display 5
Emerson: was not as good as he was in the cup game but stil put up a very good display 6.5
Camonaresi: was superb in the first half, went off the boil a bit inb the second but managed to score the winner and some natty air guitar celebrations to boot 7.5
Nedved: if you are not gonna play him in the middle, do not play him at all, he did not contribute 5
Zlatan: rave reviews from almost everyone, but I am sorry i did not see it, yes he passed the ball, but he is meant to pass the ball, he should not be praised for doing something which is mandatory, he gave the ball away too often, he lost the ball too often and i personally think he is off form , his shooting was wayward also 5.5
Trez : well his movement is better to be honest, but he has to be the only player on earth that cannot kick a football thats stationary, it has to be in the air where he volleys to generate any kind of power, but he scored and made the goal for Camo so he had a very good game 6.5

Capello: well , he did not have to do anything, cannot say his tactics worked cos it will be hypocritical of me to praise something i do not believe in just because it worked and then issue out blame when it does not work 6

..

Just watched the game. It was a good game with many opportunities from both sides. Juve had just the edge over Fio eventhough most of the media think it should've been a draw.

Zlatan, Camoranesi, and Thuram being the best players on the field. Apart from Toni's shot against the post, he was owned by Thuram. And he is a DIVER!

Well.. you´re entitled to your opinion but to be honest you are the only one. Not one professional reviewer in Italian media or at this forum has agreed so far in that.
In a survey made last week 50% of the journalist in Italy thinks that Ibra is the No1 player in serie a at this moment. And above all the first goal was all about him and he was involved in the second as well.

Btw.
Swag. Your review was excellent. Agree in just about everything.

Yes you are right, that i am entitled to my opinion, i watched the game again and i admit i was wrong in giving him 5.5, he deserved at least 6 or even 6.5 but lets go to your other points. Who gives a good goddamned what journalists and the media talk about?
Best player in Italy my ass, he is not even the best player in Turin or even second best.
How can you say his form is better than Trez who has scored in almost every game for Juve or Luca Toni who has scored 16 goals in 13 seriea games, a hattrick for his country etc?
Let me preempt you by saying that you fans of Zlatan will bore us with the amount of assists that he has madewhich i am sure is commendable but 4 or 5 goals return is pretty poor for a striker
I get the feeling that Mutu and Dp have outscored him while playing much less
But i do appreciate he is indispensable to us , the way that Capello wants us to play so i am very happy for him to continue being the number 1 forward

Nedved has been invisible for most of the season now, I think that his time in the spotlight is over.

From last year, when he plays as a ML is nothing special. Why not try him again behind the strikers?

Hi again Denco. ;)
Well… even if journalists does not have a greater impact on my life it can be both enlightening and amusing to read what they type from time to time. But even more as a reference. They are not imbeciles, not all of them anyway. Then if 10 reporters write the same thing there is a possibility that there is something to it.

I did not say he was in better form then Trez.
And in my opinion we have a great team with a lot of players on form, even on the bench. And that is the strength! The team. And I would say that at this point 60% of the players are vital. Zlatan is one, Trez another and so on. :agree:

Once again…
Fan of Zlatan?
No, I am a fan of Juve.
