We started the better team, very good chances for both Trez and Zlatan, Fiorentina were resrticted to half chances and hit the woodwork twice. The game settles in to an even contest, but again Fiorentina weren't threatening goal, when it came it was out of nowhere.
Perfect cross and a wonderful header from Pazzini (It seems he likes scoring against us..) We need to go out with the same conviction in which we started, Viola's defence hasn't impresses me at all, there are goals for us, I'm sure of it.

Great first half. Everyone played great, apart from that goal scored by Fiorentina. We were lucky not to score at the end of the first half, but Frey stopped the Ibrahimoviq shot very well. Especially Thuram, Cannavaro and the CM duo Emerson and Vieira played great. Zambrotta is also great at RB. Nedved should be substituted by Mutu, because IMO he was invisible in the first half.

as of this moment, I am not to elaborate on our first goal or the good things we've done throughout the first half. fact is, Juventus lost concentration and that led to Fiorentina's equalizer, and we were rattled from then on. Prior to Fio's goal, I am already concerned with certain things:
1. Vieira holds on to the ball for far too long and loses it.
2. Cannavaro, not only with the goal, looked a bit shaky today, but I am sure he will buckle up in the second half
3. Zambrotta is not at his best and he has made some careless mistakes, but just twice or so, other than that he is fine as Camoranesi is taking care of the right wing and doing a great job at it
4. Chiellini always looks nervous under pressure in games before and even in this one, hope the boy and keep his head cool.
Fiorentina undoubtedly will be on fire now that they've got their equalizer, I hope Capello will give Juve a good kick up their buttocks and remind them this is a good chance to go 8 pts clear and we musn't lose our cool and most of all, must not make silly mistakes especially in midfield (ehem, Vieira).

Well, at least this time we started the match well and looked the better side for most of the first half. But as soon as Prandelli brought on Pazzini I knew we would have trouble because Thuram and Cannavaro were struggling enough just trying to contain Toni. We need to llimit Fiorentina to less crosses....somehow, some way, because that is where they are going to beat us, with their superiority in the air. We also need to continue taking the game to La Viola.
I thought Zlatan, Trezeguet, Emerson, and Camoranesi were our best players in the first half while Zambrotta and Chiellini looked out of sorts, along with Thuram a couple times.
We need to stop Fiorentina getting off so many free crosses if we want to win this match.
