‘Juve should give Inter Scudetti’
Thursday 30 September, 2010
Inter chief executive Ernesto Paolillo believes that Juventus should be the ones giving his side Scudetti, not the other way around.
His comments come after it emerged Juventus President Andrea Agnelli had asked the FIGC to strip Inter of the title they were awarded in the wake of the 2006 Calciopoli scandal.
Wiretaps that allegedly show Inter trying to influence referees have recently come to the attention of the Calciopoli tribunal in Naples, laying a stain on Inter’s reputation.
Speaking after last night’s victory over Werder Bremen, Paolillo said:
“I can say that the facts are otherwise and if anything Juve should give us back some other Scudetti.”
When asked for his impression of Paolillo’s words, Inter President Massimo Moratti said:
“It’s all true
, but I wouldn’t insist on all these things seeing that there is the game [against Juventus] on Sunday.
“We are trying not to exaggerate the controversy because it can be really unpleasant,” he concluded.

Funny clowns they got there.
