How can anyone put Mutu ahead of Del piero, I dont know what you people are smoking but the guy hasnt played for some time now the forward order is as follow:
Trez
Ibra
Del piero
Zalayeta
Mutu
Check your facts Altair. The guy has played several matches now, stemming back all the way to the final match of last season. He also played in one of Romania's World Cup Qualifiers, scoring two goals and having an absolute wonderful match. Mutu should be on par or above Del Piero at the moment, not below Zalayeta.

Why does every thread have to turn into forwards openfire war? Is that because we have the best forwards in the world  ?
I don't think we have. But they're more than good enough if we use them right. Get Mutu behind the strikers, I'm looking forwars to see what Cap does in the next match. He must start with 3 strikers. Put Nedved on the bench and use Mutu! Let's try it.Try something new.

i dont agree with you i dont see why trez and ibr are both in front of del piero.

look at it this way...
trezeguet--doesnt even have an idea how to keep a goal but he only knows how to score one. that doesnt make the best striker.
ibrahimovic--1 in every 100 dribbles 1 works out, 1/100 shoots on goal he scores i tend to get mad at him in some games
del piero - can keep posession and can score goals either from open play or from penalties
zalayeta- can keep posesion but he is slow.. can score a few goals
mutu-very creative can keep possesion and has good assists.

based onw hat i said the list should be

del piero
trezeguet
ibrahimovic
mutu
zalayeta

and I think it should be
It's perfect

Trezeguet is the finisher
Ibrahimovic is the dribbler
Zalayeta is both but in a much less skillfull manner
and Del Piero is the one that makes it all happen :D

I havent seen mutu play so ... I'll leave it to that ...

The pecking order:

Trez- Zlatan- Mutu*- DP- Zala

Mutu being the third striker is conditional on his fitness, otherwise I would place him as 5th.

The thing with Mutu is his versatility to play in the forward line or as a wide midfielder.

if he plays as a midfielder then DP pushes up to no.3.

In fairness he deserves more playing time.. though its ridiculous to complain he didnt play one game of the new season yet..

You cant rank a player on his status in his national team. His national team doesnt play the same as juve, and possibly he will not play in the same position as in the NT or romania.
You judge a player on his performances on the field with juve not with romania
