Well, if we don't win this shit becomes hilarious. 
Btw, I kind of sticked with Allegri in opting for 3-5-2 until now because we were getting results and the team looked solid, whilst any change didn't guarantee us that, especially cause there is not Hazard in the bench.
But after yesterday's match, with few ideas on the pitch and a terrible physical condition, there is no reason with sticking with that line-up, also because most teams figured us out and my impression is that even some players don't trust that much this line-up anymore.
And it's time to give Coman more playing time, I was ok with not overusing him because Tevez is too important and Giovinco's form should have been recognized, but on a line-up with 3 offensive players he should have more chances. Time for a 4-3-2-1/4-3-3. And if Romulo is back, let's give him some minutes, at least from the bench because Licht is tired and not decent lately.

We will and then Llorente is gonna score a brace and Tevez a pk. Final score of 3-0, which is gonna encourage Allegri to stick to the same game plan, come midweek we will get wrecked by the Greeks and get knocked out of CL.
Too predictable indeed. In before 352 apoligist saying "i tod you so", then runing out of excuses midweek when we get kicked out of the CL .
But if allegri starts Coman Gio and Morata in a trident... i would fap!!.

If somebody told me that on the brink of 2014 we'll still play with wingbacks, of which neither can provide the team with a useful cross, or beat his man on a regular basis, I would have hard time to believe him. Why do we insist on playing this outdated system, when we have personnel to try something different. Gio, Coman, Pereyra and Tevez can all be deployed on the wings, even Romulo. Instead we use Licht who has difficulty to control the ball at his feet, he's terrible at crosses and dribbling was never his forte. Same goes for Asamoah. In the end Vidal and Pogs need to drift out wide to give them support, leaving our midfield rather thin. Desperate for some change in tactics. FFS Allegri used players like Niang on the wings during 2012/13 in Milan in lack of better alternatives, but doesn't want to introduce welcome changes here.
3-5-2 in and of itself isn't the problem. The formation can work well if a side has the proper players on the wing, and some pace in attack.
The problem with our current 3-5-2 is we don't have the wingbacks, nor the fast, clinical forwards to really make it work. Llorente sucks in a 3-5-2. Lichtsteiner and Asa suck in a 3-5-2 offensively, so we end up with an ultra-defensive 3-5-2 that relies heavily on the midfield contributing goals, and a quick, technical forward like Tevez to create chances. We rarely look like conceding against weaker sides, but against better teams, chances eventually come and we inevitably concede even though we have 5 players at the back because our defenders are forced to push forward with a very high line to play keep away in the midfield area while waiting for a chance to send a ridiculously hopeful long ball over the top in hopes of someone getting on the end of it. This leaves us terribly vulnerable to quick counterattacks.
If we had pacy, offensive-minded wingbacks, and a Tevez--Falcao (perhaps Morata if he can get better at finishing) forward combo, our 3-5-2 could be quite good. We don't, so it's really time it is put to death for this squad as our management has shown no inclination to go out and remedy these problems.

Maybe it would work if we had really offensive wingbacks that do not needed to track back, and a very skillfull targetman at Tevez side. Then the midfield trio could spent more time covering the wingbacks while their do their work, and support them. THAT way the 352 would be interesintg.
2 super skilled wingbacks terrorizing the sides while tevez and the striker overpower the mid..all of them supported by vidal pogs and cheese would definitely be awesome. But we dont have the personnel or the mentality.

One problem is that one of our most lethal weapons of our "original" 3-5-2 in 2012 and 2013, the deadly runs of our CMs, has largely become a thing of the past.
I feel there are two major reasons for this:
1. Teams are playing much more deeper against us, making runs behind the line of defense obviously much more difficult. In fact, we saw a lot more of this in every where opponents faced us in a more open way, case in point Roma as well as Olympiakos in the second half.
2. Pirlo, who used to supply the majority of the passes accompanying the runs has declined rapidly.
