we played attacking football. our movements and team play looked good, considering it's first match.

typical juventus though. create tons of chances and miss them all. coman looked great. he was ivolved in a lot of attacking play. pogba, vidal and casper were solid. pogba monster of the match, and vidal looks pretty good considering he isnt a 100 fit.

ogbonna and bonucci are serie b level. you can not trust them at all

My eyes were on Vidal to see his body language and it was definitely positive- He certainly played for the jersey which is only good news.

Especially the first half, Allegri had the team playing a fast paced attacking style which was exciting to watch, Coman looks like another "Pogba purchase" and besides wasting numerous chances we created, it was one way traffic. FORZA!

fact : Coman was far more impressive in his first official juventus game then Pogba was.

Offcourse, Pogba is a midfielder who received alot of tactical guidelines

2 things I disagree with many here are

1. Some thought we were playing spectacularly; eh I beg to differ, that was still pretty much conte juve from the last 2 years, same build up style, same movement and passing style

2. Marchisio was horrible or perhaps that is a wrong term, it just that he lacked vision and ball control enough to do what pirlo did, had it been against a better team that man marked him we would've been in big trouble

Coman was good but not sure if he is suited to be a cf/st than wingers or am, but certainly he is much better equipped to play with his back on goal than giovinco

It is only normal that something like you has no fucking clue what a CDM does and how marchisio actually played a good game

hence you didnt even understand what the reason is that Pogba and Vidal were so much more active.

but what can one expect, from Cronios little brother

Was so shit to see us hit the post so many times...

Anyway good showing and Coman looks pretty good but I won't get too excited yet.

How can you compare Marchisio to Pirlo? Apples and oranges, Pirlo is amongst the finest midfielders in the history of the game, Marchisio is a decent talent.

However Marchisio moved the ball around quicker yesterday than Pirlo would have, he doesn't have his vision but kept the pace ticking nicely.

Er because marchisio played as pirlo sub last night? Not comparing them individually, just their ability as regista

One is the king of regista's, the other has only played in the role a few times, you expect him to become as good as Pirlo after a few games?

I generally agree that it was not too dissimilar from last year. One positive change you can see though was a lack of wasted long balls. I think we managed to keep possession a bit better when pressed even without an outlet like Llorente and even on that shit pitch. I also think we pressed a little bit more in the attacking third when we lost possession.

Marchisio was a bit off with his ball playing. He was outstanding defensively as always. I don't think he'd have a problem with man marking (who would do that anyway?) because he is very good at getting rid of the ball quickly. This is what he brings to the team that is different than Pirlo. Pirlo will always dictate the pace of the game because he holds the ball. Marchisio will let the players ahead of him dictate the game. If they are running into space and want to play up and down, he will release the ball quick and keep the team moving.

Originally I thought Coman would be wasted as a striker but his close ball control is further ahead than I thought. It's possible he can play as a SS. I think playing as a CF was just an emergency thing from Allegri because the other option was Giovinco. But you can see when he's running at players that he's very, very dangerous.

Allegri was getting pissed at them for this, that there was to much bullshit passing around the back and he wanted them to attack quicker
