Was not able to see it unfortunately but what i'm reading pleases me. At this point i'm rather satisfied with creating chances, scoring them will come soon enough. It's just very important to start the season off with three points, with good football as it confirms we can still do this without conte :).

Chievo is such a disgusting team. They play awful, have ugly stadium and jerseys. Have no interesting players at all. I'm glad we won't play them away again this season :).

I'd say they have a decent stadium and fans are filling it. Crapoli has crap stadium with crap fans, crap president and playing in crap city

So fucking true. It's GREAT to have this fixture out of the way, and with 3 points in the bag.

That pitch was horrible. Glad no one got injured. Fantastic game except for some lapses in defence. Vidal & Licht were a joy to watch. Pogba was just awesome. Marchisio composed, Coman took the initiative & should have had a goal. Asamoah should really have had an assist. Llorente really hustled the Chievo defenders when he came on. Looked really sharp too. Playing game really & good touches.

That's no contradiction.

We should have scored at least 3 goals today. 4 if you ask me. But since we didn't, we suffered unneccessary at 1-0 up. In football, 1-0 is a fragile lead and you always risk letting a goal in, no matter how good you are. The risk almost materialized, but Gigi was there to save the day.

Great! I'm really excited about this team. Great movement off the ball and build up play. Marchisio and Coman for Pirlo and Llorente makes the team much more dynamic.

Very good signs:

- Vidal definitely looks 100% healthy (apart from poor fitness), which is vital for us and he had a fucking beautiful 2nd half;

- Good decision making by Allegri. Right call to go with 352 and to start Coman. Great job

- Coman showed much more football IQ than I expected... this could become a very very good player for us.

- Defensive system looked good and CBs were calm and collected;

- Marchisio absolutely bossed as a DM, once again. He seems to be world class at that position. Right now it's a tough choice between him and a healthy Pirlo. I'd pick Marchisio for CL games.

- Litch had an outstanding performance, he's still explosive;

- Buffon showing no signs of age while keeping his insane reflexes and instinct.

All in all I'm very excited. Everybody played well. Pogba, Vidal, Litch and Coman were the best. Allegri is looking good, Coman looks like a great asset who could be important for the squad and the squad is deeper.

thought it was a great debut. team will get fitter and better as time goes on.

I like that we seem encouraging with shots out of the box now. that was a rarity in Conte's days and was badly needed at times.
