Also anyone comparing us to the Milan of last year is an idiot and clearly has not watched us all season. When in 99% of the games, we've looked in total control.
I agree with you :)weee:)

I don't like the invention of other excuses when a suitable striker solves quite a lot about this team. Players like Vidal dipping in and out of form aren't because of the system.

Not usual for a Juve win to leave me in a foul mood for the rest of the day. Glad for the 3 points, but that was some dire stuff after they went to 10 men and the game was screaming for some subs to be made, cannot comprehend why Alessio opted to wait until the 88th minute to use his last two.

Also Asamoah is actually looking more one-dimensional going forward than Licht, which is pretty worrying considering our formation relies on the two full backs and these two are clearly Conte's first choice.

However if we played the fast, high pressing game. We'd certainly be very fatigued at the most important part of the season. Considering all our toughest games are next year, I think playing within ourselves at times is sensible.
but how could the english and spanish teams do that all the season?

If I were Pogba I would've grabbed that greasy mofo by his hair and stuck my big black deck up his doughy ass.

Fortunate win, and an unconvincing display. We have look tired/jaded/fatigued in most of our games this season, and won quite a few in an unconvincing manner; given that a win is a win, and the three points are all that matters, we lack that style/panache of last year. We are more cynical this year, and though not entirely convincing, have rarely ran risks in any of the games we contested in Serie A (with the exception of the game against Fiorentina).

However, yesterday's game could've easily ended (and probably should've) ended in a stalemate had it not been for some refereeing errors. That pirate fuck from Catania deserved to be sent off, but we scored an offside goal, and they had a perfectly good goal disallowed. Decisions like this balance themselves out over the course of a season, so there's no point dwelling on shit like that (as the Italian media love to, particularly when it concerns Juventus), but it's the manner in which we got our victory that concerned me. We lacked sharpness, hunger, and generally looked disinterested.

The ref really had it in for Pogba. He was fouled 6 times, 3 times which were crystal clear free kicks, and didn't get a single one.
Yeah i noticed that too. He copped niggly fouls all game and they went unpunished

I couldn't care less if we won every game with the other team scoring offside goals every week. A win is a win is a win. We struggled much more last year at this same venue, this was a good result and a much better performance compared to 12 months ago.

People need to realise now that our squad has to conserve their energy...we are playing CL, Serie A, International games and in a few weeks time, Coppa Italia football. We were always going to win the game last night, our quality was always going to shine through. A sign of a champion team is winning when not at 100%, so I'm satisfied with the result.

Let's not forget Napoli came here earlier this season and drew 0-0, with Catania having 10 men for most of the game. They are a really tough team to beat at their stadium.

It's so nice to see that we're are winning these matches compared to the many draws last season. I guess it's the badges in our chests that give us the extra strength to get the result.
