Juve need to get out of this goal scoring drought and put some goals past Cagliari. I always hated seeing them beat the lower teams by only one goal. I'd love to see them win by 3 or 4 nil.

I still remember that penelty shoot out against Inter in the Coppa italia semi finals when Chimenti saved our asses by saving Vieri's kick :touched:

Odds are against Chimenti having a good day against us. More like it, odds are in favor that we can't piece together a creative enough offense with decent enough finishing to score much. :sigh: That's where I'm worried most.

i think now with zlatan signing a contract ( although it still has'nt been posted on the official website) i think he will start playing properly and getting on the score sheet. as for the goal keeper to be sent on the field to cover for buffon and abiati i am really worried i mean bonnefoi has'nt played for ages!!!!!!!!! so i think our defense will have the responsibilty of covering him properly. i hope that idiot named zebina does'nt play we dont need penalties or any mistakes .

i think this one should end 1-0. if it does i will be more than happy honestly. i hope inter beat ac milan ( sth i doubt happening) too this will stop the piont differense from getting closer and removes the presuure on juventus.

Juve 'keeper crisis over

Friday 14 April, 2006

Juventus’ goalkeeping crisis for the game against Cagliari on Saturday seems to be over after Gigi Buffon and Christian Abbiati returned to training.

The duo were present amongst their teammates at yesterday afternoon’s session after struggling with injuries all week.

Buffon had been absent for two days as his problematic foot injury, which forced him to miss the Fiorentina match on Sunday, continues to hamper him.

Abbiati stepped into his boots with few problems and even saved a penalty, but picked up a slight muscle strain during the encounter.

That led to suggestions that Juventus would be forced to play with the untested Landry Bonnefoi at the weekend.

However, the Frenchman may not be needed after all with Capello set to call upon the services of either Buffon or Abbiati.

Although Juventus’ Press silence is making it difficult to gather information from the Turin giants, it seems that Abbiati may be handed the No 1 shirt for the Sardinian trip. The League leaders, currently seven points clear of Milan, will be without the suspended Lilian Thuram.
David Trezeguet and Emerson also took part in a light running session on Thursday, but their presence at the Stadio Sant’Elia remains in doubt.Giuliano Giannichedda is set to be out too after he failed to shrug off an injury.

So we are out of Emerson's Gianni's and Thuram's services....damn.

We couldn't place Canna and Thuram toogether since the Arsenal game.

It looks that we will play Blasi alongside Vieira.

Blasi was ok in fiorentina game.

Worries me is our attack, should we expect a goal-fest soon?

It has been a long time coming. 1 goal in 3 matches is certainly a drought.

anyway, Forza JUVE!!!!
