Ladies and gentleman,

We just witnessed the "Miracle of 2005/2006". Cannavaro is a hero. Lo Scudetto e nostro!

Forza Juve

PS I tape matches, and usually don't save draws, but I'm saving this one:D

So you think with this late goal, we got the Scudetto?

We haven't given up on catching Juve says Milan boss

ROME, Italy (AFP) - AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti insisted the Scudetto title race was wide open after Juventus slipped up at struggling Cagliari.

Juventus were seconds away from a humiliating defeat against the Sardinian outfit until Fabio Cannavero scored in the last kick of the game to earn Juve a 1-1 draw.

That failure to come away with a result reduced their advantage at the top of Serie A to five points. Milan had temporarily cut the gap to four points with Friday's 1-0 derby win over Inter at the San Siro.

Cannavaro's late intervention after Cagliari had taken a shock first half lead left Juve still without a win in their last six matches and Ancelotti anticipating a tense climax to the season.

"Were not going to give in on the Serie A title race," he said.

"There's still everything to play for."

Milan's Holland international Clarence Seedorf echoed his boss's sentiments.

"Now we can really dream of taking the Scudetto out of Juves hands," he said.

Nedo Sonetti: “I have to compliment my players, as they were extraordinary today. I don’t want to cause controversy, but Mauro Camoranesi should’ve been sent off for using his elbow. Nobody saw the incident at the time and, ironically, he was the one who took the corner kick for the equaliser.”

    May add to this?

    Juventus continue their press-silence :rofl2:

Let Milan think they have a shot---play better players in the Serie A, than they would have....

We will accomplish beating them in Serie A and causing them to lose in CL :D

    This is a shame indeed...

We are acting just like kids...

When we win, we go and shout loudly that we're the best, but when we start losing, we put our heads under sand and say we're making a press-silence...

Well, substitutions like Capello's can't be justifued by any press conference, so this silence was the solution:disagree: :disagree:

Btw, anyone ever notice that Canna typically scores in matches where nobody else scores for us?

What an idiotic last statement -- as if to suggest, "remove Camo, and same exact match play -- but just without him". Since he's obviously an expert on probabilities and predetermination, I'd like to see the rip in the space-time continuum that would have had to happen for the corner kick to appear out of the void at the last moments of the match without Camo.

Yeah, and Abraham Lincoln would have turned 197 years old a couple of months ago if only he hadn't met a tragic death at the hands of a murderous assassin at Ford's Theater. :rolleyes2

I didn't mean to say it in a cocky way....

What I am saying is, we now force Milan to choose....they have a shot at lo scudetto, of course....so you're Milan: do you pull/overplay players in Serie A and take a shot at winning it....a very long shot, and risk losing in CL?

They are in a major pickle.

Milan has a better bench than we have, but they don't have one that's good enough to succeed at winning a double at this stage, IMO. Milan is going to have to make some compromised decisions. And if they have any brains, and they do, it's going to be all about the CL.
