What negative vibes are you talking about?

I only said that Iaquinta is not a competent player.

If you hint that my prediction of the result of this match was a negative one, I have to disagree. I think players won't have the same motivation after consecutive two wins to win this one, hence why I predicted the 2-2 result.
so wont they have the confidence to win it?

And I still do not know why we wasted so much money on Iaquinta. Should have invested in a younger, better player than this guy. We've seen him in Serie A and nothing that he's done can be considered worthy of so much money. Then when he celebrates like he scored a bike against Livorno after a Nedved shot off his back, that really tells you something. I can't stand players like him.

he's just happy to score one in stripes :eyebrows:

i dont recall him being a flamboyant or over-the-top kinda player but maybe playing on a world class club boosts confidence as well as ego

Start by believing in our team first.
We have to...no-one else is gonna do it for us!

Seriously, this is the rebuild, & unfortunately that's going to mean putting up with disappointment, like it or not! Jack, I remember the real crap between 1986-92 when a lot of the time we could hardly kick a ball! At least we are not that bad now! View attachment 33836

Giampaolo Geared Up For Juventus

Tomorrow, Cagliari will welcome Juventus at the Sant'Elia stadium, and they will be happy to have a full squad - with the sole exception of the injured Davide Marchini - available for this clash.

Argentinean striker Joaquin Larrivey, who just completed his transfer to the Sardinian club, will be ready, in particular, and coach Marco Giampaolo plans to involve the player in some way.

"I knew that sooner or later his transfer would be confirmed, the problem was purely a bureaucratic one," Giampaolo said.

"Larrivey started working with us from the start and the president guaranteed me I would have him available."

After the surprising victory against Napoli at the San Paolo stadium last week, the upcoming clash presents a much bigger test

"We can't get carried away by our enthusiasm," he warned. "It's nice to see the fans supporting us, but we can't let that influence us too much.

"Juve are a team who command respect and it will not be an easy game at all. I've not yet decided how to play against them: whether to attack them or play a more defensive game. I will decide tomorrow."

It's never easy in Sardegna, Ah¦M¦eD, Cagliari have never been the kind of side who will let anyone walk over them, but if we go at it like we know we can win, we will!

He's worth being given the chance and support.

Iaquinta was too expensive. He seems best as a clean-up man who can help create on the wing, but Palladino does that for a tenth of the price.

Still, I wish him well to prove all the doubters wrong.

Calgilari was never easy. We've lost points there often, typically on set pieces, but thankfully Zola has retired. :)

While a draw wouldn't be disasterous, we undoubtedly have the quality to win the game.

The fact is if we play anywhere near our potential we should win this gme comfortably.

I'll predict a 1 goal victory for us, either 1-0 or 2-1. Would really like a clean sheet though.
