I'm not sure what Sarri wanted to do here but this was the game to play u23 IMO. If he fielded u23 in this game then there would be a nice recovery time for the players between Samp and Roma. Against Roma you play some starters but obviously not everyone and none should play 90 minutes. Then you arrive for the Lyon's game with rested players but also not totally 'cold'.

I don't get it but let's assume fans don't know shit.
