Give Di Vaio time, he's a good player; he's just having a hard time right now on the field..
In Serie A, 1-0 is as impressive as 6-0; Roma can thump as many as they like against poor Siena, the fact remains that they've got a championship to win and in close contention still is Juventus.
We just can't slip up, that's the underlining message. No room for complacency. Good result..bring on the Champions League. ;)

Thank god we won!
and from your commentaries and reports we really did well considering a tough away match against Bologna,a team we never do so well against.
So 3 points along with Roma, the saga goes on...
1.Milan 55-pts
2.Roma 50-pts
3.Juve 49-pts

Well next round will be another chance for us to close the gap as Roma and Milan are will have tough matches:
Lazio-Milan
Parma-Roma
Juve-Ancona

FORZA JUVE!!!!thnx Iuliano!:D

NOw let's concetrate on DEPOR!!!!

It seesms that juliano always scores against bolobnia (this is the third
time i think) , we could have closed the gap with milan if inter (the team
of loser managed to keep their lead) , i dont know what the stupid coach
of inter was doing with recoba sitting on the bench till the 85 minute in a game like this ,he always let him play with juve while in the darby no.
anyway we must keep the pressure , next week milan will meet lazio at
the olimpico, while we will meet ancona.

Another day, another win, ehh?

I believe Lippi was planning to rest Alex and Neddy for the trip to Deportivo but since Milan won the derby last night the pressure was on us and Roma to deilver and close the gap again. A slip-up would be suicidal at this stage of the season, so that's why I think Lippi opted for the best possible line-up and put the Deportivo match aside, for now at least.

That plan paid dividents as we controlled the ball and looked more comfortable for large integrals of the match. Our key to winning was our midfield, it was highly concentrated and had a good day. Incidentlly, Tacchi wasn't there.

Conte was great while Maresca had another good match, especially in the first half. Camoranesi gave us glimpses of his fantastic and peotic touches a la Zidane. His run-in on opponents was also fasinating to watch. I love it when lil' Camo is on top-form. Sadly, that couldn't be said of Neddy. To make matters worse, he got booked and now misses the next match.

Alex has a disappointing first half but quickly bounced back in a more lively second half. His nicely struck free-kick was going in anyway, and that's what Alex was arguing (jokingly) with a celebrating Iuliano. Di Vaio tried hard but had a frustrating time missing chances. Miccoli didn't really add much to our game when he was introduced just before the goal was scored.

Our defence kept another clean sheet (and believe it or not, not-so-popular Iuliano and Montero were at the back to protect Buffon. But it must be said that Bologna's forwards also had a bad day and that had something to do with it (clean sheet). Also Buffon was there whenever needed.

Don't be upset with Mialn's win against Inter. The most important thing is that we keep on winning, even in big matches. Eventually, Milan and Roma will drop points.

Iuliano owed us that goal today, for every shitty performance this season (even though it was going in anyway).

Taking off Maresca early showed poor judgement from Lippi IMO, the midfield lost balance and drive and Bologna saw alot more of the ball and put us under a bit of pressure toward the end of the game.

I concur with everyone else's opinion about Di Vaio, he was extremely poor - again. Luckly, Bologna had a impotent attack and didn't have any serious chances to score.

2 Games without conceding a goal, who would've thought that 2 weeks ago?

Thank you dpforever for your wonderful match report!
OK Roma won 6-0 but Seina is not Bolongia. I think we played a great match, it was absolutely not micky-mouse game. 6 point is not too match and next week milan will go to Lazio, who beat milan twice in coppa.

Another think to be mention is the way that Enzo is playing lately, I getting in love with this man, no I am not a gay ;). So I think we are in good shape for Depor. Let's repeat last year.

I too am becoming very fond of Maresca, as are the Juve faithful!
I disagree with you, dpforever about Miccoli's contribution today. Considering he replaced the ineffective, Di Vaio; he helped players like Nedved and Camo contribute to the attack (scarce as it was in the second half) by holding the ball up instead of doing DV's favourite pastime today, losing possession. Not only this but I think he shared Del Piero's workload of being the catalyst in attack. ;)

Great match from both Bologna and JUVE. But we were better and we had more luck and won. ;)

So Congratulations....

Next week we can be closer to Milano, coz Lazio I think will beat Milano for a place in the CL....Forza Lazio, beat Milan :D

Juve - Ancona.....(3-0) my prediction ;)

Lets not get too over-excited about our defense getting another clean sheet, Bologna only put us under pressure for the last 7 minutes of the game.

When we play the likes of Milan, Roma, and Depor, our defensive flaws will be exposed.....

Di Vaio- shit game, he's not doing much to try to become a permanent starter

Zamby- did not have a good game IMO

DP- were still waiting....

Camo- Dr. Jeckyll showed up to play today !!!!! (the good player)

Iuliano- this guy cant play defense, so lets move him up to striker !!!!!!
