Btw guys, Tacchinardi will miss the game due to suspension while Birindelli is still out injured. On a more positive note, Camoranesi and Trezeguet return, as well as Montero (but I don't know how positive his comeback will be). Some people are saying that Nedved will be dropped for Camoranesi, Miccoli or Trezeguet, but it's still a bit too early to guess what Lippi's line-up is gonna be.

i liked the formation made eariler:
Buffon
Zam, Legro, Thuram, Pessoto
Appiah, Conte, Maresca
Nedved
MIccoli, DP

I read that we lack the aerial ability with this formation, but we have Legro to come up for the corners and give his smashing headers. Also DP has quite the jump, :) This would be an interesting formation, and IMO the better performing players on Juve currently. I really wish biri wasnt injured, as now is a time we need his versatility, speed and accuracy on that left side where pessoto is. Currently, i think that Biri would be a better solution than Pessoto, but too bad hes injured.

This will turn out to be a tough game, but i dont see Juve loosing any more points this season...

this one will be tough.. bologna is always a hard task for us.. we won against reggina which is not that tough and missing some key players, but still managed to confuse our defence..

this match will be next weekend at Stadio "Renato Dall'Ara".. we'll face some hard-a*s players like Nakata, Locatelli, Pecchia, Dalla Bonna, Signori..

cmon man put TARE in there. the whole bolognia midfield is playin for him

Isn't DP suspended too. I'm quite sure that the yellow he got on Sunday is his 2nd. Besides, if he plays for the national this Wed, he should be rested. Play Micco and give Di Vaio another chance.

It's going to be tough.

Thank God we're finally playing Thuram in the CB role. That can only bode well for us. I think Zambrotta should be played on the left side of defence.

Methinks DV just had a bad game, he should still be in the frame, but a partnership of DP and Miccoli should be tried out again.

3-1 to Juve.

I'm a believer.

No, Del Piero is not suspended and it doesn't make sense to rest your most inform foward (along with Miccoli) in a game that we must win. Di Vaio has been struggling for form of late so we'll either see DP - Mic or Dp - Trez upfront.

if tacchi is out, then who's our defensive midfielder would be? conte? appiah? aww mannn
We could either play Conte - Appiah - Maresca or Camoranesi - Appiah - Maresca. Camo isn't going to be match fit though, so I'd go with the first one and then if we need some creativity or width Camo can make a second half appearance.

Yeap...di vaio has been not good in the last 2 games.... and it will be better for us if we try miccoli firt and then divaio. But it seems like trezeguet i back...so maybe Lippi will start trezeguet like always!.

This time though a certain Julio Ricardo Cruz will be missing :)

I hope Treze is fit enough to play this match, he has a good record against the Rossoblu being the Juve topscorer against them with 4 goals. But Lippi might be keeping an eye on the Deportivo Champions League match during midweek and might as well rest him.

Anyway, in the last round Bologna drew 1-1 with Modena in a local derby and they currently sit in the 10th position of the Serie A table. They will be missing Colucci through suspension.

I have a feeling Mazzone will play with a dodgy-style defence and rely heavily on counter attacks. One goal should be enough to get the 3 points against them.

(It's about time Inter stopped Milan's dominance in the Derby de la Madonnina, don't you think :D )

Anyway guys, it looks like Sunday went great for us, we should definetely continue our policy of supporting Inter, Siena, Lazio and Parma in the next few weeks, if our boys take care of our games, we will see if we are really out of the Scudetto hunt like all these premature predictors had predicted
