What's the point from mentioning previous matches where Camo did excell in that position when at this season he wasn't the same?!
Did you not Alen watch the Byern game and how clumsy he was there?! Camo was greatness when he played in the wide position in the 4-2-3-1 formation this season and by that im not saying he will suck in midfeild im just saying that by giving him that wide position we will be getting more of Camo and less yellow and possible red cards.

And thats my point, why play him in a position where he has to defend so much, while we can get the best of him on a wide position where he wont be as much involved in the defensive duties as in the MC position?!

Because we don't have the players for 4231. We can't play that formation just because Giovinco and Camo, both injured most of time lately, feel most comfortable in that one. Mauro is very versatile player, I think in regista position he'd do much better than Melo (even if it's not saying much).

If Del Piero plays two bad games, everyone knows that sooner or later he will hit form. If Paolucci plays two bad games, he will be benched for long long time. It's the same for Camo, you can't just focus on one season or game.

that's why I accepted the 3 defence thing of Zac, it allows strong midfield+Alex with Diego and a striker of the 3

I just hope Cannavaro and Legro won't nap too much in counterattacks.
