the fuck was that again. you can all but murder jj players and nothing happens. kolasinac alone made at least 5 yellow worthy fouls

This is the thing, it's become so common that it's turned normal now. Our players could get sexually harassed and var won't call it.

I hate waiting to celebrate every goal we score too. Every fucking time, whether it's a long range shot or a tap in. These motherfuckers really kill the pleasure.

I still can't believe the one where Gatti got headbutted by Pellegri earlier in the season, who was retaliating from a challenge not long before. The most obvious red you can see.

I missed the match due to work, but just browsing a couple random pages of the LIVE thread, it seems that it was another disappointment with Koopmeiners being useless again, Cambiaso costing us yet another game, and Mckennie being the best player again. Ammirite?

This one is not on Motta as he was not on the bench but I think overall we played better than Atalanta on their home turf which is quite decent. We deserved to win but were not clinical enough.
We should have pushed for the 2nd goal as it's clear as daylight that 1 goal leads are not enough for us.

Convincing.

I see some criticism above for Nico and Locatelli. Imo Nico was good, and Locatelli played a really good match. Koopmeiners on the other hand wasn't good at all, while the fullbacks were just bad.
Locatelli was great. He and Thuram blocked everything.
Nico ran a full field on and off. His effort was obviously seen.
Koop was decent for one half but went awol in the 2nd.

Locatelli has been playing well all season. His tactical positioning is brilliant, he's always in the right place and his passing is really good as well imo.

He's made some really silly costly blunders but if the team in general was playing properly they wouldn't be so costly and would be less frequent because we wouldn't be under pressure so often.

We lack a midfielder who will be consistently good throughout the game. That wont fade away as the game goes on. Post MVP all our midfielders struggled with consistency. We as a team tend to switch off as well. For the past 6-7 seasons this has been the issue. Unfortunately we dont have a great defensive block to pull us through. Why cant Thuram last for more than 60 minutes? Locatelli has a good passing? Maybe short passes and back to defenders but pretty average when he has the opportunity to deliver the final ball. Few times I noticed he pretends not to see a player moving into open space ahead of him. What he does, 90% of other decent mids could do. He doesnt make a difference. Utility player.

Since people mentioned this a few weeks ago I've been watching him closely and I haven't noticed that he looks especially tired after 65. He gets subbed off, but that's the Motta way and he's still running by then.

Disagree about Locatelli but appreciate your reasoning. The part about him pretending not to see runs? Are you saying that he's deliberately losing us games? I don't understand. Or do you mean he's been told by Motta not to go for it?

I mean he is aware that his long passing sucks so he prefers the safe option. Motta is also conservative coach so could be his instructions as well.
