Esti Boakye Denis ffs

If ever there was a trio of scrubs destined to rape us it's them.
+ Zappacosta and Baselli, too many links here. They'll do us no favours, but we seem to have a good record here whereas it is the graveyard for many big clubs.

I suspect an 80% performance with an eye on Atlético, hopefully that is enough.

 perfect. I like the way Max is already starting to rotate the team wisely. Interested to see how Romulo does in his first start for the club as well.

Atalanta actually have a pretty decent squad. A few interesting U/21 talents (Baselli, Zappacosta), a young strong striker in Boakye and of course El Tanque. They are way less loserish than the likes of Empoli and Cesena. But yeah, we do have a great record against them over the years. Also…Papu Gomez plays for Atalanta now?!?! Shieeeet, I remember him in his Catania days, he was pretty awesome and useful for them, and he caused us plenty of problems. That transfer flew over my head :D

Who is this Sportiello keeper? Is he a young gun, or some Serie B older veteran? Cant say Ive heard of him.

22 year old keeper from their own youth. He was a starter in Serie C before. Never saw him play though, got some praise from the media after 3 games though.

There are a lot of young italian keepers in Serie A right now. Cragno, Perin, Leali, Bardi, Scuffet, Sportiello. Even in Serie B there are already two other young keepers who became starters this year. Minelli at Brescia (20 years old) and Provodel at Perugia (20 years old). Hopefully a similiar trend will happen with field players. More quality italian players would be fantastic for us and maybe even necessary to make the next step.
